As I was watching Forever is all along time coming, I noticed the Autobot Rebels as they were fighting against The Dark Guardians, and A3 had Beta as his assistant, did Beta turned out to be a Prime? What ever happened to the Autobot Rebels afterwards? The Decepticons didn't exist yet?

I was told by my friend that Decepticon was actually Autobot in origin before someone named Megatron rebel the Autobot cause and he founded and all robot in Cybertron are Autobot in origin.

 

It was never covered in the cartoon.No one can say what happened to Beta.

Althou they werent called "Decepticons" yet, their ancestors the military robots did indeed exsit.

either you're quoting your friend incorrectly or your friend is not 100% correct.The info you are posting is specific to the IDW comic continuity, not the G1 cartoon.

in the G1 toon,The Quintisons designed 2 lines of transformers for retail sale.

the designed military robots and consumer goods robots.

the military robots are the ancestors of the Decepticons
the consumer goods robots are the ancestors of the autobots

So while they may not have been known by the name Decepticon, they were always a separate product line.

So NO,not all the robots on Cybertron are Autobot in origin.

 

Yeah but Beta was it Beta Prime?, did you read this in the comics aswell?
