Lately I've been splitting My Classic(CHUG) Autobots into different teams. Spy team w/ Mirage, Hound, Smokescreen and Bumblebee etc. I have a R&D/Science team consisting of Ratchet, WJ, Perceptor and Wreck-gar. I was wondering if anyone else should be on that team? Also, any ideas for other teams would be a great help.
Teams so far:
Spy team: Mirage, Hound, Smokescreen, Drift, Bumblebee

R&D team: Perceptor, Ratchet, Wheeljack, Wreck-Gar, Grapple, Huffer, Beachcomber

Security Team: Red Alert, Inferno, Kup(Leader)

Attack team: Grimlock(Leader), Blurr, Hot Rod, Hardhead, Bluestreak, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Cliffjumper, Brawn, Ironhide, Powerglide, Superion

Command team: Optimus Prime(Leader), Jazz, Prowl, Silverbolt

 

maybe Red Alert.

Ironfist, based on his LSoTW incarnation, at any rate.

 

Inferno, Red Alert, Prowl on the emergency team

 

I have Inferno and Red w/ Kup on the Autobot Security team. Prowl will be part of the command team when I figure out who else besides Prime is on it.

 

Jazz should be on the command team. He's 2nd in command based on MTMTE and the first movie.

 

Jetfire also on the R&D team. He's a scientist.

 

Jetfire would also fit in the command team as he was the "leader" of the 85 'bots and is one of the few with a rank of 10. So if anything he would at least be the leader of your R&D team.

 

Swerve is the metallurgist. Get the Chevy Aveo on the R&D team.

Jetfire's one of three Classics I don't have(UM ans Sky Warp being the others). He would make a good leader for the R&D team though. I like Jazz on the command team, Silverbolt too. I have Grimlock,Hardhead, Blurr and Hot Rod on the attack team so far and added Drift to the spy team.

 

He would be a great fit if I had him. 

 

Great idea for a thread. SG Starscream would fit, he was checking out a black hole and jumped into the next universe. Also Hoist, he was a great welder and assistant to Grapple.

Also, Sgt. Kup on your command team.  

 

Kup on command team? I never though about that! Right now he's the leader of the security team. I like the idea of Hoist on the R&D team. I might have to get the RotF version as a stand in just for this purpose! 

Grapple is on the R&D team and added CJ and Superion to the attack team.

 

For R&D definitely for me would be:

Technologist: Jetfire
Engineer: Wheeljack
Scientist: Perceptor
Constuction: Grapple

Jetfire would definitley head up that team. He does have command status.

I see Ratchet as Chief Medical officer, so he would head up the Medical Division, consisting of Hoist, First Aid, Fixit, etc.

 

For me, being that they're sentient robots, medical is folded into R&D
