Even though I think most of the Bots deserved great funerals. I honestly think Jazz, Jetfire, Que and definitely Ironhide. I feel like sometimes Optimus doesnt become effected by his comrades death at all. If there is anyone I forgot please just say their name instead of complaining about it.
Yeah, Optimus really doesn't seem to mind much that his closest comrades die in battle, in the films. So I guess an Autobot funeral is a Linkin Park hymn while he stares into a sunset and your body is dumped into the ocean. Or... you know... wearing you as a suit.
All of them, I guess. No real reason as to why a specific Autobot doesn't deserve to a hero's funeral (even though the movie Autobrats were murderous monsters, but that's besides the point).
Well each Bot served and helped out in their own way. You'd think Prime would show more emotion towards it.
Jetfire because without his sacrifice the Decepticons would have won. The fact that his parts were left for scrap after Prime was finished with them was kind of disrespectful.
This. All the Autobots deserved funerals for their actions during the war but Jetfire actually suicided himself for victory to be achieved.
Let's not forget in the first movie "we lost a dear friend (tosses jazz aside) but now I have human friends! Yay!"
The parts of Jetfire Optimus disposed of were either broken by the Fallen, or had powered down, so Optimus wasn't being disrespectful in any way because he still had plenty of Jetfire's parts attached to him afterwards. I do agree however that the rest of the dead Autobots should have gotten some kind of response, or recognition when they died.
come to think of it, no one seemed to care when Optimus died either. The deaths are handled so poorly because Bay treats the autobots as props to blow shit up and not as characters.
They were more pissed because Galloway and his military goons had taken over their base at the worst possible time.
