How much should i be looking to pay for all four?
MIB or loose/complete?
Depends on condition.
good condition, no junkers lol. loose/mint/complete i can live with a small amount of chromewear
I'd say from 200$ to 500$ each... MLC to MIB
I know, its crazy
Wow, for that price you could hire someone to hold them up on display for a few weeks! lol
Edit : Just why not wait for an Encore # 18 Cassets Big Mission # 3 release?
the Autobot dino cassettes were only released in Japan...I don't think the OP is talking about Overkill and Slugfest.
Depending on the condition, with or without weapons, MIB or not, you can easily spend over a grand for all four of them or just for two. Trust me, I been there and back already.
I have some pictures of my in my collection thread to check out if you're interested.
i figured it could be over a grand for them, there's just a gaping hole in front of blaster and twincast waiting for them, thanks g1 junkie and hotspot17
no i am not talking about overkill and slugfest
Yeah, I agree. I was in the market for buying them a while back... and it would've cost ~$1000 for all of them.
I'm honestly hoping for a KO version.
Have to agree you are looking at $1000 plus for a loose set. I have mixed feelings about them and to be honest if I had the money, I don`t know if I would buy them.
They are not for everybody. You have to really want them to get them. For a while, there was a KO version of gurafi available with a different head. But it's been a while since I seen one available.
What do you all think the chances are that they'll see an Encore reissue??? I just got my Encore #17 and am really hoping they are selling well enough to make Tak think about releasing not only the combiners, but als the japanese exclusives.
Mostly not. 90% of fans don't even know that they exist. I think they tend to reissue the more popular figures/characters.
an Easy 1000.00 for a set .
it would be nice, but with stepper, they sold so bad, i hope they rerelease victory saber, overlord, and liokaiser, just to have them cheap to be able to play with instead of playing with the vintage ones
i will buy the vintage set of the cassettes sometime, reissues of them won't be as nice to have on the shelves anyways
I agree with you 100%. It maybe just a mental thing but having the originals would be so much sweeter than some reissue.
I HAVE the money, and I won't buy them too much money for just a little toy
yeah, reissues are for play, originals for display
Originals are sweeter than reissues. But reissues are sweeter than nothing. I'd love to have these molds but I bet they are too obscure for an Encore release. Even Twincast was a poor seller, as a Japanese exclusive originally.
Damned if I wouldn't love to see them as pack-ins with Encore Blaster though!
