    Two versions of some artwork I've done for how I see a rebuilt Autobot city looking.....One with a key for the information below, and a textless version I use for my desktop wall paper....I've used Metroplex as the basis of the city, and given him some more 'Citybots' to sit around with because, let's face it, Metroplex wasn't much of a city, was he? He was more of a building complex.

    Key-
    A- CITYBOT METROPLEX. COMMAND HUB.
    Metroplex operates as a base of operations for the city's Commanding Officer- Ultra Magnus, as well as housing the city's main power reactors. The Autobot Sixgun and Auto-drones Scamper and Slammer are permanently assigned here.

    B- CITYBOT ACK-ACK. AIR DEFENCE COMPLEX.
    Provides aerial cover against incoming Decepticon attacks. Jetfire is based here in his role as Air Guardian, and the Micromasters Crackshot and Killtone are permanently assigned here.

    C- CITYBOT CELLBLOCK. SECURITY HEADQUARTERS/PRISON.
    The base of operations for the Autobot's security chief, Red Alert, and the security mechs under his command, including those members of the Iacon Precinct transferred from Cybertron. The Micromasters Clockwise and Gatekeeper are permanently assigned here.

    D- CITYBOT DATABASE. CENTRAL ARCHIVE/CHEMICAL RESEARCH FACILITY.
    The Autobots main laboratory space and databanks. Chemical Engineers like Quickmix work here, as does the Autobot theoretitian Skids. The Micromasters Codex and Enzyme are permanently assigned here.

    E- CITYBOT DRYDOCK. MAINTENANCE HUB.
    Originally assigned to Autobot City to unload and oversee the arrival of building materials across Nelson Bay. Now houses Hoist's Maintenance bays. The Micromasters Harbourmaster and Slipway are permanently assigned here.

    F- CITYBOT LAUNCHPAD. AERODROME/LAUNCH FACILTY.
    The City's main landing facility houses the Autobot's air divisions, including the Aerialbots. design allows it to recieve any number of craft, from jets to helicopers and rockets. The Micromasters Dowse and Spectre are permanently assigned here.

    G- CITYBOT RAMPART. BARRACKS/DEFENSE POST.
    The first point of contact as you enter the city houses the Autobot's Infantry divisions and warriors, including the Armourbots. The Micromasters Dirtbag and Trenchfoot are permanently assigned here.

    H- CITYBOT SANCTUM. TEMPLE.
    Operates as the city's spiritual hub and is the base of the Knights Temporal. The Micromasters Beacon and Bellringer are permanently assigned here.

    I- CITYBOT SKYWATCH. RADAR STATION/COMMUNICATIONS BASE.
    Provides early warning of Decepticon attacks. The Autobot Blaster and his menagerie of Cassette-bots are based here, as are The Micromasters Lock-On and Skyranger.

    J- CITYBOT STARGAZER. OBSERVATORY.
    Autobot Perceptor has an office here and uses the facilities to study and monitor subspace phenominon. He has recently discovered the Mulitverse Rift using this equipment. The Micromasters Centauri and Deepspace are permanently assigned here.

    K- The City's Guardian Robot, designation Delta Sentinal.

    L- Medical Centre. Base of operations, literally, for the medical teams of Ratchet and First Aid.

    M- Engineering/Research Complex. Houses Wheeljacks workshop.

    N- Tidal Monitoring Station. Base of Operations for the Autobot scientist Bandwidth and his team of Cassette-bots.

    O- Meteorolgical Station. Houses the weather monitoring equipment of the Minibot Gasbag.

    P,Q- Embassy Complexes, Human (P) and Nebulan(Q). Both species maintain a permanent residence in the city now after the creation of the binary bonding process.

    R- Witwicky Bridge. This four lane highway serves as the sole point of arrival across the Shin River. It submerges beneath the water to defend the city.

    S- The city's Spacebridge (Under Construction)


    Further notes:
    -I dabbled with the idea of doing the city in the bronze colour that it was in the movie, but it didn't look quite right and metroplex and the other citybots stood out too much.
    -I've mentioned that the citybots have micromasters permanently assigned to them, as If they were toys then they would come with little 'bots to make them more playable, I think Tom Hanks said it best in 'Big' when he said 'It's just a building, it just sits there' or words to that effect.
    -The 'Iacon Precinct' I mention in Cellblock's blurb are some OCs of mine with Prowl's police markings.
    -'Nelson Bay' and 'the Shin River' are a heads up to the directors of the Transformer movies, Nelson Shin ('80s Animated movie) and Michael Bay (tits and explosion movie) The surname Bay was too good an opportunity to miss.
    -The Knights Temporal are another OC group of mine, warriors who are all trucks whose trailers merge with their cabs to form a larger version of themselves, not unlike Ultra Magnus.
    -Blasters 'menagerie' are a load more OCs of mine, all with African animal robot modes, like Ramhorn and Steeljaw had.
    -I went with the name 'Delta Sentinel' as it is a Greek character like Omega, but also references the city's location at the mouth of a river.
    -Bandwidth is an OC of mine, basically a recoloured Blaster. All his cassettes have aquatic animal modes.
    -Gasbag is another OC of mine, with a blimp alt mode. He could talk the hind legs off a Petro-donkey and the fact that the building is not connected to any another is not a mistake!
    -The lake and trees in the park in the middle of the city are designed to look like a footprint, as it must be a nightmare have all these gigantic robots transforming and stomping all over the place.
    -The Spacebridge is left unfinished as it as a bit of an after though on behalf of Grapple and his team. They have realised that if the city had one on 2005/2006 the reinforcements would have arrived much sooner and the whole movie could have been avoided!

    That's awesome, I love how metroplex is sitting in there too.. that's great!!!!!!!!

    THIS ROCKS!!!. I would love to hang something like this in my movie room!

    It makes so much since why the autobots were running around trying to transform the city. None of them were online yet.

    LOVE how you extended Metroplex's aesthetics into completely new building designs, this is really quite wonderful!

    Thanks to everybody for the kind words......Today I started on a fortified version of Dinobot Island. hopefully that won't take the 18-odd months that this one took.

    I'm not sure what the architectural style would be Neo-Cybertronian? Iaconian revival? It's just white boxes truth be told!

    Dinobot island will not transform, no. It'll just be a volcanic peak covered in trees with a bit of swamp like it appeared to be in the G1 cartoon. I'll just be adding gun turrets and buildings to house all my OC Dinobots in. The buildings include-
    'The Fortress'- Command bunker/barracks to house Snarl's Infantry and Slag's Demolition divisions.
    'The Roost'- juts out of the volcanic cone, houses Swoop's Air division and a Comms array.
    'The Sub pens'- Allow Sludge's Marines direct access to the ocean.
    'The Forge'- Med bay, Engineering workshop and weapons cache.
    A landing pad for Grimlock's flagship, The Malevolent Fist.

    And as for a wallpaper, knock yourselves out, that's why I put the textless version up here too.

    Very awesome. To me, having Metroplex form an entire city on his own never made much sense, but having him be the leader of a subgroup of citybots that individually formed major buildings in the city is much more logical. All your ocs sound great. Could you make a list of all your hundreds of ocs? I at least want to know what to look forward too.
