So we know that that Iacon is the Autobots baseon Cybertron, who was in charge of the Autobots base on Cybertron? Did ever get destroyed? And what was called the Decepticon base on Cybertron?

In G1 when Prime and his crew left for their supposed search mission

 

In G1 all the Cybertronians left Cybertron save a handful. Shockwave, Alpha Trion, and the fembots were basically the only people on the planet. Shockwave was the law so Alpha Trion hid. The fembots did jack until they were introduced into the series, then promptly forgotten about.

 

In the G1 cartoon Alpha Trion and Elita One and the female Autobots were left behind. There Shockwave and some Seekers were at least left behind for the Cons. The Con base on Cybertron there was never named but seemed to be mostly Shockwave's tower. (Later materials have retroactively named the Con capital on Cybertron as Kaon.)

In the G1 comic Emirate Xaaron and Impactor seemed to run things on Cybertron after Prime left and they had lots of other Autobots with them. The Con had a number of bases there including Castle Decepticon and Darkmount.
