For those coming, is anyone interested in a loose set of the Botcon Stunticons? Considering bringing them along but only if somebody is interested because I'll need room for my purchases coming back! Looking for about £200 on them but open to reasonable offers.

Very tempting, but I don't really have £200 to spare. I've set myself a strict budget of £165 and that's mostly going on Prime figures.

 

Nooooooooooooo, so much lovely G1 will be there!

I know I'm not alone, but I am mightily tempted on Galaxy Shuttle. I suspect he'll be out of my price range, and I already have his cousin Thunder Dagwon, so I'll do the gentlemanly thing and bow out to let someone else snap that up (and save my cash for the inevitable old toy that I realise I need off of you after all!)

I shall be attending, the only other Transformers convention I've attended was Roll out Roll call earlier this year. Also the fact you can sell old Transformers is great, I can finally get rid of supreme class ROTF Devastator because that thing just takes up way too much space for what it is. I'm only attending the Saturday though and know I'll be broke for a couple of weeks after this but it'll be so worth it.

 

Warning to all those staying at the Hilton, big fucking wooden box above the beds, exactly where you'd put your head, hurts like a sonofabitch.

 

Wow went to it earlier today!! Amazing!! Loads of ppl from the comics (regeneration one,more than meets the eye, autocracy), toy, t shirt shops. The works. Amazing effort put it to this. Nice to see so many fellow fans. A word of advice for ppl planning to go to these events. Save money!!

 

Well this weekend was the first aa for myself, somethings popped up every other year to stop me but after this weekend my wife and i are already planning to go next year, which will be the first for our baby whos due in january. Can't wait!
Highlight of the weekend? Meeting livio ramondelli the man behind the soundwave tattoo i have, great guy and gave me a signed print for free.


Oh and there was the small matter of the peter cullen autograph i won in the raffle!

Anyone who upgraded to an executive room might want to check their bill and phone the hotel, I'm being charged an extra £50 a night which should have been £15 a night and the hotel are being fairly unreceptive to the concept of refunding the difference.
