I hope Steve's ok, he's meant to be coming to my wedding in less than 2 weeks!

On another note, I do need to book for AA - I've put it off as I've had to divert a shit-ton of time and money into the aforementioned wedding, but I'm hopefully sorting that out when I get paid this week.  

 

Since this is my first convention, i've a few questions if anyone wants to be nice enough to answer!

Firstly, whats the shopping like at AA? Are the dealer tables plentiful or is that not really the focus of the event? And in the same vein, whats the policy on third-party items? will anyone be selling them?

 

They have a website with answers to all your questions, including a statement on 3rd party items.

With regards to the dealer tables, again, check the website or there's plenty of footage on youtube of previous years.

 

We've got more space allocated to dealers than the last few years and there will be dealers selling pretty much everything you can think of. It's not the same scale as Botcon for dealers, but you won't be disappointed - there will be everything from G1 to Prime, exclusives, imports and third party stuff.

We do have some restrictions in place with the third party toys we are allowing but that's really only a case of us banning the extreme copyright infringements. Most items are being allowed but we're working with our dealers to strike a happy balance with what will be on sale.

In terms of the dealers though, we do have a partial list on our website, but I am waiting to confirm two more, had an email from another one planning on attending this morning, and others are looking at expanding the space they have at the convention!

 

In exactly eight weeks time I'll be double checking my suitcase and starting to bounce up and down with excitement  

Anyone else gonna be arriving on the thursday?

 

I think most of us'll be getting there on the Friday. The Swedish contingent, god help you, will be there from Thursday.

 

I'm sure I'll be fine, think I've got some Swede in me anyway.

If not, I'll probably have some in me by the time reinforcements arrive on friday

Going to be there Wednesday this year - we want a bit of time to relax beforehand and maybe spend some time in Birmingham...

We're also thinking about doing a limited early pass collection on Thursday like last year but we'll let everyone know closer to the time.

Someday I'll make it to this. I'd love to meet Simon again, and would love to hang with Ray aka ilovemess of youtube fame.

I'm mainly bring G1 stuff this year to sell but will be having a clear out of other newer stock

 

hoping to find th eremaining weapons for my G1 computron. they just keep evading me so those and ill be happy. plus what ever else takes my fancy  

 

I will with 95% certainty not find what I am looking for but here goes
