Originally I was planning on getting the video online tomorrow but I managed to upload the whole 450Mb video to youtube in under 2 hours so we put it live a few hours early!

Losing my job really has screwed me up over the last few months and what most people don't realise is that a LOT of my own cash goes into Auto Assembly throughout the year to keep it ticking over behind the scenes and without that extra cash to fall back on, some of the work I do for Auto Assembly has had to be put on the back burner while I have focused on finding a new job or just making sure that my family could keep ourselves going.

We are still waiting for some artwork to finish off the Non-Attendee Packs as well but to be honest, with the additional work that is involved in putting the packs together for the numbers of them that are ordered, we may re-consider doing them for 2011 onwards and focus more on the convention itself.

 

The move to a bigger venue for 2012 shows just how big AA has become - it's not surprising given the large jump in attendees from 2009 to 2010. Bring it on!  

 

Dammit. Wish I could be there.

 

How much bigger does it have to get before Hasbro will actually pay attention.

If '08 and '09 were any indicator, they'll send their cleaner to stand behind a table filled with toys that will never be released over here anyway.

 

Now that you mention it, most of that stuff never was released over here.

Hasbro UK couldn't give the tiniest shit about the line. They've proved this time and time again, especially with their emphasis on Stealth Force rubbish over the Christmas period. I wouldn't expect them to ever take an interest in AA again, to be honest; they're simply not interested in what they claim has been their biggest line of the last 25 years.
