Each year, Auto Assembly has seen a display of rare "Lucky Draw" Transformers from the vast collection owned by Steven and David Mapes, webmasters at Transformers At The Moon which has attracted a great deal of attention at each convention. Now, as part of our celebrations for the 25th Anniversary year, Transformers At The Moon will be doing something rather special for their display at Auto Assembly 2009...

This year they will be bringing their ENTIRE collection of Lucky Draw toys to the convention to form their display, which will feature well over 40 toys showcased. This will be the largest single display of these toys - and other rare items - ever collected in one place and many of these have never been seen at Auto Assembly before. This will be your only opportunity to see so many of these rarities in one place and there will be so many that the display is having to be split over the weekend so to see them all you will need to be at the convention for the whole weekend!

There will be well over £60,000 worth of toys on display and this is a unique opportunity for die-hard collectors everywhere to see these toys. For more information, and details on some of the highlights of the display, visit the page on the Auto Assembly website here: Auto Assembly or visit their website at Lucky Draw Transformers At LuckyDrawTransformers.com

You can also find a provisional programme for the convention on the Auto Assembly website, along with details on many other activities taking place over the weekend. For full details on Auto Assembly 2009 and to book your tickets, visit the website at Auto Assembly

No offense to those that enjoy these, but am I the only one who doesn't give two shits about Lucky Draw figures? I get that they're rare and all, but they're tacky as hell in my opinion. Just don't see the attraction.

    Here's the plan:

We assemble a crack team of TFW2005 members who possesses abilities akin to S.W.A.T. Then we go RAID those LD pieces. What say you, guys? :lol

*sigh* too many immature folks in here.

Why not enjoy the rare stuff rather than jokingly plotting to steal it all.

Besides, I'm pretty sure everything on display is filed and insured just in case a bunch of knuckle-heads such as yourselves try and do something so juvenile.

I'd like to see it all even though I'm not into gold toys.

Man stop taking yourself so seriously. they're just indirectly complimenting it by the jokes. This thread is about gold-colored toy action figures that are originally suggested for ages 6 & up being put on display at a convention built to celebrate a 25 year old toy line. So, rare art auction at Christie's, it is not.

Actually Gauge, not all the LD's are gold color,I have seen a Green Armada Unicron,Black
and Tan I think Lio Convoy, and a Supreme Cheetor tho not sure what color he was.So
there is a variety.I just wish I could get my hands on One of those figures, but unless I
win the lottery or something,I don't see me ever having one, even tho they are awesome
    as sh**.

Oh, I'm actually quite surprised that some people couldn't make out the smiley that I put beside my quote. :sly:

Well either they're blind Nemos or I simply need to magnify that smiley by 10 TIMES in the future when I crack on something like that.

    I'm impressed..too.

Exactly my friend, you saw the light while others don't. :D

With the Cheetor, sadly it was the normal Beast Machines one (in Black with silver chrome) and there will be TWO of those on display! One will be in the main Lucky Draw display and the other will be in the Cheetor display that will be part of this year's toy display!

Saying that, I know the guys are hoping to bring along their prototype Supreme Cheetor with them as well...
