We didn't have any new figures on display this year, but for those who are interested to know the plans for Transformers down under for 2010 -

    Toyfair 2010 - Australia (Transformers)

    The main info though:
First half of 2010 - red packed Movie line continues.
Second half of 2010 - yellow packed Movie line, red packed gimmick figures, Powercore Combiners, Generations, and Speed Stars. (August in America, Jun/Jul in Australia)

Mid year sees a big change in packaging styles for TFs and SW (their biggest two lines at the moment).
Animated - no more new figures to be released here. No Arcee or Ratchet either.
Human Alliance - still a Kmart exclusive here, and they are still committed to the line. But - only releasing 3 mid year and 3 at the end of the year, probably to make them look like a range/variety of figures, instead of one at a time.
Recon Ravage (the mailaway one) will be released here at ToysRUs next month.
MP Grimlock will also be a TRU exclusive here.
TF2 Robot Replicas definitly not being released here.
80% increase in sales for TFs during 2009 ($40mil - $23mil of that while the movie was in theatres), compared to 2008 ($17mil) and 2007 ($17mil).

Interesting - the WFC bio suggests the game is either a vague "prequel for everything" storyline or is a prequel for the upcoming cartoon, judging by the comment that Bumblebee is silent in the present day.

:lol  at how Battle Blade BB is packaged, looks like he's about to take a dump standing up(which is oddly appropriate considering Bay's love of toliet humor).

Hey look! Crackstart and Backfire are repaints! Who'd have thunk it.  And Backfire's a repaint of Knock Out. Again with that mold. Jeez, how many is that now in the ROTF line? Five? Six?! :lol  Wonder who they're gonna repaint Hubcap as eventually...

As for the rest, I cannot wait for Seaspray, Drift and Darkmount/Straxus to see release. And Legends Ravage, too. :D

It's nice to see some more pictures of the Generations figures. Thrust is a definite for me, and as much as I dislike his character/personality, I might get Drift's figure. Not sure I'll be getting any of the WFC themed figures. Depending on how Soundwave turns out, I may get him and use him as a Classics figure.

There's something VERY interesting on these figures I'm noticing... Hasbro is ACTUALLY GIVING A DAMN ABOUT GIVING ACCURATE SKILL LEVELS ON THE BOXES.

Case in point: Some deluxes are skill level 3, Generations Thrust is skill level 2, many deluxes are 4, etc.

GREAT shots of all the boxart we hadn't seen yet! Woo!

Is this the first time we're seeing Generations Optimus and Bumblebee in packaging? No real surprise to see that they're packed in bot mode rather than Cybertronian.

I also notice that it doesn't appear to mention the War For Cybertron game anywhere on the packaging.

I'm very surprised WFC isn't mentioned anywhere on the box either. That seems like a REAL bad faux-pas to me - even movie 1's game designs plugged the game on-box.

Likewise for Drift. Like him or not, they SHOULD be cross-promoting the miniseries that'll be out about the same time that he's in on the box. More comic readers can only be a good thing.

they have some nice pics over there, its cool to read the bios for the generations figs. bumblebee's says that after the events of the game he becomes a "silent warrior," which could be suggesting a link to the movies or the new tv series. Personally not too big on them doing that, but cool if your into that stuff I guess

really hope these things start showing up before august
