Doesn't he do this every three years or so? Were are the big rolly eyes when you need them?
Weren't RATM supposed to be getting back together anyway?
Good. I hated Audioslave. Chris Cornell wasted his talent with those other three. As for going solo, good luck. It didn't work with the Sweet Sunshower album.
I heard that also--for a tour, though, not an album. And I heard that tickets were going to be obscenely over-priced.
I paid $36 to see them back in '99, before arena show prices got outta control, and they played for less than 45 minutes. Then I found out which groups/causes a big chunk of my ticket cost was going towards, and decided I was done with them.

Exactly...Soundgarden - Solo - Audioslave - Solo...
He is very talented though...IMO his best work was with Soundgarden...
Yeah, those other three no-talent hacks need to be shot in to space.
RATM is getting back together for Coachella... and possibly beyond.
When I think back on great 90's bands, Soundgarden is right near the top of my list. Sure wish they were still around, but at least they went out at their prime. Never heard his solo stuff or Audioslave.
Sweet Sunshower? The album was Euphoria Morning.
Anyway, this is good news as Audioslaved last two albums were way disappointing. His new solo album should be good, Steve Lillywhite is producing it so thats a good sign. And Tom Morello has a solo acoustic album coming out this April under his Nightwatchman moniker and I'm real psyched for that one. Its all acoustic and is very reminiscent of early Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, Springsteen's Nebraska, and Billy Bragg. Top notch folk work, which is unexpected from him. And if all turns out well, a RATM reunion beyond Coachella
Well, there was that single. Sorry I'm not an expert on album titles.
Sunshower was from the soundtrack to Great Expectations I think. Changes was the single from Euphoria Morning. Its actually real good album, worth checking out.
Well that sucks...I really love Audioslave's albums. I guess I'm the only one, but they rocked to me.
I always liked his solo stuff. Still wish Soundgarden was still around though.
Now go do a Soundgarden reunion tour Chris.
I don't think I would want a Soundgarden reunion. He doesn't have the voice for it anymore. The Soundgarden covers I heard Audioslave do didn't sound too good because he voice sounds real strained. Cornell now doing a song like Birth Ritual or Slaves and Bulldozers? Ugh. His solo stuff is better suited for his vocals now.
This pleases Team Jetfire, yesss....
Soundgarden = unfuckwithable
Audioslave's first album = good; second = hmm; third = bleh.
*eagerly awaits full blown RatM reunion*
Meh. Both Cornell and Audioslave were overrated.
