Watching TF:TM on the Hub right now. During the opening credits, the Victor Carroli narration from the non-US release played with the standard (non-scrolling) opening! Is this to now be considered a new variant of the film? How should this be viewed in comparison to the other versions of the film already in existence.

(waits to see if spike says S***)

Ugh. As much as I love Victor Caroli's narrating, I'm not a fan of the UK version narrating by him in the opening and closing. It just doesn't sound right. Had it been in there originally, I probably would've been fine with it. However, it's not what I'm used to.

    Ebay:
Is the print the same as the 2006 Sony print of the '86 film? And that sounds like an odd audio swap, I guess the footage print for the Star Wars-esque paragraphs from the UK version couldn't be found or wasn't available.

I really think it was the 2006 Sony print. It looked exactly like when I watch that dvd. The only differences was the vocal narration at the beginning and ending, and the removal of Spike's s word. But visually it was exactly the same.
