I'm going to have my extra set of HM heads MIB available soon (except Shafler, hanging onto him); I'll post them here before eBay.

Wow. I bought a Guard City in Japan for about $500 three years ago in but it wasn't in that great a condition.

The tech specs of guard city are on an inside flap and the previous owner cut the tech specs out.

Still, for a piece in such good condition, the price is fair. It is doubtful another one can be found like it without knowing the owner.

First of all, I heart Beastformers. ^_^

Secondly, it's always nice to see the toys I'll most likely never own.

Wait a minute, what'd I just say? :lol

I was thinking that on all of those prices... I'll admit I haven't needed to follow Japanese TF prices for quite a few years now, but are people really paying that kind of money for these toys?

If so, maybe I need to dig down in my basement to see what I still have extras of!

Yeah, he gets most of his stuff from Yahoo Auctions. But in his defense I think he does this for a living (as well as other Japanese related toys). I have a Guard City up for auction right now for about $800 less than what he's asking for. Any takers?

I would love to get my hands on Trizer but not at that price. And Shuffler would be a dream.

Bodhar2000 is correct, anglo buys alot from yahoo auctions and resells, the pioneer convoy he won about a week and a half ago for around 25000 yen, and I have watched him win a number of auctions and then next week they are on ebay with 4x the price.

@Liokaiser, a shuffler has been sitting on yahoojp for a looong time now and honestly he is not worth the insane price lione and trizer are waay better.

@Bodhar2000, did you find those locally?

I had no idea that there were individually sold Headmasters, or non-humanoid Headmasters of any type. As these unique molds, or have I simply never encountered any of the other versions of them?

Yup, I finally got a Japanese dealer to cave and sell me these after pestering him for years. Paid handsomely for these figures, but well worth it IMO. The only other White Head that I saw was on Yahoo JP a few months back for 200,000 yen (white Trizer).

What difference does it make if he's doing this for a living? The fact that he's scalping items like these at ridiculous prices is what pisses me off (to anyone else: please don't give me that supply/demand economics bull crap, if you want to bend over and pay something excessively for what it's worth, that's up to you). I hope he eats dog food because he can't earn money from his "job".

To you Bodhar and others in Japan, at least you're asking for reasonable prices or let the market (bidders) determine the price of what you sell, but for sellers like this, they're like a cancer to the market IMO.
