    Guys/Gals,

One of the two gents who was generously running the Hasbro stand on their behalf at Autoassembly this past weekend is asking for your comments, constructive criticism and thoughts/wishes on what they could do next year now Hasbro UK have realised the brands popularity and actually do want to get involved with the fans.

Please take a few moments to read the posts by bluestreak56 to let him and consequently the Hasbro UK Transformers brand manager know what you'd like to see from them in the future.

    Cheers

Methinks you misread the thread title Mr encline.

Not that I'm complaining, I've been hoping someone would rescue this thread.

Could they find some way of storing our hauls somewhere safe? I had to carry my stuff throughout my entire stay preventing me from getting more stuff from the dealers

Not really something for Hasbro to look into.

OK, this guy has put the question out there - let's take the opportunity to give some actual feedback.

It would be nice for Hasbro's presence to be on a generally grander scale.

Obviously, while you guys are obviously big fans, and what you did was great, for Hasbro to have an official representative at the event would be great. A bigger selection of toys (including some that aren't actually available in the UK yet) could be on display, and maybe the chance to actually buy some.

Or, best of all, maybe Hasbro could officially sponsor the event, with an exclusive toy for attendees!

It would be good if something that was previously unnanounced was revealed at the event (figures/uk exclusives). Botcon/comic con normally get all the news:(

It would be good if they could do something in Botcon style, or even just do a similar presentation.

A Hasbro UK exclusive toy to purchase would be nice.

Even some form of link with the Botcon exclusives would be good - Hasbro UK to sell them on behalf of Botcon US... Or even the Comic con ones as they are sold through Hasbro toy shop US.

The previous post about selling some of the toys that have not yet been released here would be nice.

I don't know if enough people come to AA just yet for an excluisve repaint to be financially doable but if they did one I'd like to see something that makes it clear it's the first ever UK convention excluisve. Classics Mirage in british racing green with union jacks painted on the spoiler sides for instance. ;)

But there has been a UK exclusive convention toy before so it would not be the first

True. However, it should be remembered that Rook was an official Botcon exclusive. Hasbro finally getting involved with AA is a step in the right direction though, definitely.

And there STILL are Rook toys avaliable. I think they'd struggle to give it away to be honest.

So does that mean that getting Botcon exclusives is a possibility?

I don't think I'd buy them. Kinda cool idea, but I just don't feel the need for more minibots, seeing as I've already got BB, CJ and Hubcap.

The one thing that worries me about getting UK exclusives is would we end up paying UK mark up for them? The Botcon sets are kinda defendable at $300 for five figures (and typing that has to be a sign that you're too far into the hobby), but £300? That would be insane.

Of course we'd pay UK mark-up on them. We get stiffed on everything.
