My 5-year-old son wants an R2D2 toy for Christmas, but he doesn't want one scaled for the 3 3/4 lines. He wants something bigger. We're not talking lifesize or anything, just something a little more substantial. Is there or has there ever been any larger R2D2 toys? I was thinking maybe something scaled to the 12" line, or something similar in size to the R2D2 Mr. Potato Head (which he unfortunately has no interest in, probably because his brother is obsessed with Mr. Potato Head and would hijack it immediately). It doesn't have to be currently on store shelves if I have a reasonable chance of tracking one down in the next two months on ebay or whatever. Thanks for any help any of you could provide.

Yeah, same thing. There were a handful of HasKen 12"-scale figs that were necessarily ~6" due to their size.

Yeah this is the first R2 I thought about when you asked. It's a nice figure.

Perfect! Thanks! What's roughly the going rate on these, if you know? Does it have any electronics?

That's really nice of you. I'll drop you a PM.

There is a 12" version. Well, technically it is about 5-6". But it was meant to scale for the 12" figs. In fact I see mine right now behind me on the shelf!

I dinna think it has electronics. As for how much...I dunno really. Completed auctions are $20-30ish and there's one w/a BIN of $35, which seems like the upper bound. The guy running the auction I posted has another for the same fig, also starting at .99. Might be able to snag one of them on the cheap.
