I managed to get Universe Unicron without chest plates, mini con, misses, wings basically nothing that attaches to him for 4 bucks. Do you think this is a good deal?

Considering that the original probably cost around $50-60 in stores, You did got a deal! I mean you probably wish that he would have at least had chest plates, but for the price, that was a sweet find!

Given the amount of stuff missing, you'd probably be better off spending the $50 on a complete one by the time you track down the missing pieces.

However you probably could easily get $10 by selling it to a Radicon doing a custom Devastator combiner.

where in ontario are you? i'm butchering a unicron (not for devastator) and might have some of the pieces you need for cheap, chest pieces are most likely not needed, and the wings are a possibility

Unless you luck out on the missing parts, it's a false economy.

I think Darkov does repro missiles for Unicron though.

I think it's worth it, only as far as selling it for parts.

I got one in pretty much the same condition for 75 cents so its a good deal i suppose mine was better, and i have since replaced him with a complete one.

The arms and legs are pretty popular, so it's only really worth it if you sell it.

$4 Bucks for a toy this huge & heavy is the deal of a life time.

I've gotta start heading over to my thrift stores & see what I can find.

I don't know about you, but I don't buy my toys by the pound. I wouldn't even consider buying something modern (post-BW for sure, if not most of BW) that was that severely incomplete because I know I'd never complete it for less than buying one complete. Fort Max, Scorponok, Trypticon, Metroplex, etc are one thing... But something from the last 10-15 years... It's not worth the effort.

chest plates are not overly expensive, neither are the rings, with the number of armada/universe units out there the parts seem dirt cheap save for the minicon. I got a grab bag for 99 cents 2 sparkabots and a grotesque chassis for 99 cents . sometimes you can get lucky tho all in all I think you got a deal

It's a great deal if you're a kitbasher wanting to make a combiner.
