This was my submission for the ProCustomizers Halloween Custom Contest. I was able to throw him together in time by working on him between commissions and the "paying" job. He should be up for sale soon. My wife gets creeped out by him on my desk!
Based on the Misfits' song "Astro Zombies," I built this guy up from an old Horizon "Carnage" vinyl model kit. Custom built the backdrop, and astronaut helmet. I wanted to evoke the feeling of the '50s movie style astronaut suit. I imagined he had blasted through some horrible "space radiation," and then crash landed on Earth. The same radiation that caused his death re-animated his mangled corpse, allowing him to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting human world! Had a lot of fun painting this guy too. Hand painted with acrylics and inks.

Aww, that sounds like sig or avatar material right there. I was trying to think of a way to incorprate more nods to the band, and the song, but I already thought the nametag, and posters were stretching it! (the devil-lock would have ruled though!)

To answer the earlier question: Thhis guy stands about 12 inches at the top of his wrist (his highest point.)
