Assassin's Creed III Will Be Out On October 30

I'm willing to bet a trailer comes out that date, not a full game. (Unless it's been in development for a while, which seems unlikely)

EDIT: 3 years in development according to the article, this will be interesting...

That's somewhat odd. Then again, if they created a hypestorm earlier on, they'd completely undermine Revelations and Brotherhood, I guess.

I guess brotherhood and revelations were just pet projects, to build up to AC3.

Bring it on cause I own them all so far in disc format. I LOVE this series so to me AC will always be welcome in my house.

REally? Wow, that probably explains why I got AC: Revelations for half price today.

Love the Assassins Creed series, but honestly I would have preferred to hold off for another AC game until the next generation Consoles.

I can't wait to play this game. I'm glad to here that they've put a lot of time into this game. I'm interested to see how Desmond's story ends.

I think a two year gap would have been better, however their reasoning was great in that they can't release the game after the 2012 apocalypse has "happened".

Getting a bit burnt out on Assassins Creed games. I got Revelations the day it came out but have been lacking the enthusiasm to play it.

i think assrev was a bit too close to assbro, which is why i still havent picked it up. i have to give them big gaps as i get intensely into them for a couple weeks, i start looking at buildings outside with a view to climb them and stab bus drivers.

I might wait until they have released the DLC and bundled that all together for 3. They've done it for the other ones, and Revelations is apparently getting a version soon.

Despite that it's a well known fact that we Brits make the best bad guys ever, I do hope it's more historical/conspiracy based, and less "The Patriot". I still haven't bothered to buy Revelations - yearly releases get me bored of games very quickly, sadly.

I did like the idea I saw thrown around that the entire conflict is basically a templar civil war, that could be a fun angle.

It could be a good game, but until I know more I'm not that interested. Besides, half the joy of Assassins Creed (for me) was to explore the ancient cities. I'll keep an eye on it, though. Might turn out nice - and it's an era I'm keen on, with a wargaming background, so I'll doubtlessly be bitching about buttons on uniforms before long. :lol
