Hi Everyone, About a month ago I downloaded Google Sketchup and decided to try my hand at some 3D rendering. After uploading about 10 models to shapeways I put in two orders. Here is what I received from my second order. The first piece I rendered was a request for a simple, unadorned, straight edged sword. A few pieces later I uploaded the razor mace. I am also a Joe customizer so I created some pieces for 1:18 scale as well. Reactive Armor Shield A power Glaive to go with the shield and a Dual Pulsar Cannon All of these are printed in Transparent Detail. While I can see that this will be problematic for the thugger I ordered I highly recommend this material for accessories and weapons. All of these any many more models can be found here Hunter Artworks by Asphalt on Shapeways As I get more pieces printed I will post them here. This was absolutely amazing to see something go from a completely virtual image on the computer to a real life piece. I can see why the other shapeways folks love the site so much.
