anybody out there think Universe Jolt was a boring un-poseable brick? i did! so, i fixed him: head rotates, shoulders swing up horizontally now, ball jointed elbows, ball-jointed hips, knees bend, landing gear doubles as heel spurs to hold him up. i also modified Hot Shot. i moved the spoiler off the shoulder & onto the back kibble. that freed up his shoulder movement greatly. i also added a second minicon post to the other back piece, but on top of the car mode, instead of behind it. that was so Jolt could attach better in car mode. & since Hasbro didnt give us the rocket launchers, i used an old Armada Hotshot gun as his new gun, which i found a way to mount underneath him. i also added a minicon post to the gun, so Jolt could use it too.

and yes, i did a similar mod to my Cop-Tur...

BTW, sorry if pix are bad. pix are a couple years old now...

    Ron Jeremy Jolt FTW!

Nice job, the added articulation adds a lot.

God..i will NEVER get tired of seeing Minicons , micromasters and small TF's in general receiving the articulation level that the characters absolutely deserve. Side kick ? YES. Ball jointed or similar moving shoulders and elbows? YES

Damn right this is full of win. Id have BOUGHT a Jolt off the shelf that moved like that . Id have purchased MANY TF's that moved like that in this scale.

i have 1 now. those pix were taken back when Hot Shot 1st came out. maybe ill take some new ones sometime lol...

well, to answer some other questions, he's about as tall as he was previously. i added ball joints to the hips, and the thighs are from another minicon(1 of the Requiem Blaster minis, if i recall). the shoulders are jolts, just 2 of them!: i used a 2nd Jolts shoulders and carved out some grooves, then used the 1st jolts shoulders, and pinned them together). the forearms were "re-shaped" with a soldering iron, spare plastic, and a heat gun, to form a ball joint & cup. i think the landing gear came from other minis, just dont remember which. they can fold up in copter mode, just real snug. & the knees were pinned in there to create a bending joint. the head was from 2 jolts-1 had to die so the other could have a turning head, again on a pin. hope that answers some questions!
