Hey All!! After posting WIPs of Brawl and Swindle, fellow Radicon Lucs requested a Legends Jazz all super-posy and such! Well I was happy to oblige! I really wasn't that interested in this mold, but now that I've seen the potential, I'm definitely gonna grab one to do for myself!! Good call, Lucs! Right outta the box, I see some positives and negatives with this mold, here is a quick bashers pro-con review: Cons: Back wheels are his forearms , sooo.... ..his lower legs look really, really bad !! (see pic) ..and his arms ain't much better!! Pros: He has really good shoulder joints! His head allows for some nice modding! He's Jazz dammit, and Jazz is enough! So I played with him for about a half hour (that's how I do my engineering), then got to work! Here's the mod list: Cut off arms halfway to put the back wheels on his feet(where they belong!) Added new forearms from a downsized KO Scavenger (I KNEW they'd come in handy!) Had to remove the white bonnet underneath that held the front wheels (see pic) Had to build new wheel wells so the new arms would fit and so I could reattach the front wheels Threw in a blaster and made a shoulder cannon (he sooo needed that!) Articulation: Waist=360 degrees rotation Thigh=360 degrees rotation Shoulders=stock, but very poseable Elbows=full range of motion, pivot and swivel Head=ball jointed, 360 degrees rotation and some look up/down ability Shoulder cannon-tilts vertically for a little versatility Feet/Knees=stock but good Pic of Brawl and Swindle is just a shameless plug !! Well Lucs, I hope ya like 'im, cuz he's yours !! Just got some filling in and a bit of sanding to do and he's off!! No paint folks, you'll have to bug Lucs to see the final product!! We agreed I would just do the modding, and he can paint it up!! And I hope all you guys like him too!! Let me know whatcha think!! All comments welcome!! Thanks for looking and KEEP ON BASHING!!!!!!---BH
HOLY COW! That's more than I hoped it would be. Absolutely breath taking. Thanks man he's well worth your asking price and I'll send that Jetfire out to you today hopefully. I can't believe you gave him a shoulder and a hand gun. Super sweet!
I haven't seen those amazing new legends in stores, and you have already modded them. I need those legends now! Fantastic work, by the way. I think I'll replicate your customs if I ever find the *&%$ figures.
At some point down the road, you're going to have to hook me up with those parts, as I plan to take this mold and make a REDLINE with it.
That would look very cool! Hmm..did my Idea about a fan character Legends gestalt get the wheels rollin'? Anyway, I am going to pick up some extras, so I'll keep some aside for when your ready.
Excellent. I thank you in advance. As to your question, no I wanted to do it soon as we found out this guy was going to be produced! I DO have plans in the future for a Classics fan character Gestalt though, and it won't be want you'll guess either. hehehe
Definitely have a go at it! The Legends are very cool and fun, once they get the articulation they deserve you can't put 'em down! May I refer you to the tutorial in the Radicons Tutorial/How to section? Here's the linky! http://www.tfw2005.com/radicons-cus...lating-legends-class-figures-tutorial-166995/ Now these mods coupled with those Legends class ReproLabels Defstar is teasing us with and you'll have one awesome figure!
Yeah seriously try it for yourself. I haven't yet but I painted a few things on this one and I will post it soon. Promise!
Very awesome work. Super-poseable figures of this size are of a particular interest to me. I think you should try to get a Scrapper gun for him. Scrapper and Jazz had nearly the exact same gun, the only differences being the color and size.
