I have the main body of my MP Fortress Maximus pretty much finished (WIP thread seen here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/261781-sneak-peek-into-big-project.html). Just (still) waiting on the LED work to be finished...OR waiting to find a good deal on replacement parts (which, I'm afraid, is the route I'll be forced to take). But that's another story...

In the meantime, I've been working on giving some articulation to Spike. Here's where I'm at so far.

As always, comments & critiques are welcome.

    Enjoy!

looks amazing so far. a little different than the photo you shared yest w/ me, but still looking awesome. That nightstick needs to be mass-produced for headmasters.

Yeah, I'm still debating on whether to use those SW legs or not. They look great, but (1) I have no need for an upper torso-only Frenzy/Rumble figure, and (2) they're a bit on the pricey side just to disassemble for parts. I'll try to keep looking for some cheaper minicon bits that would work, but if it comes down to it I'll end up going with the SW legs.

you should try the legs from Safeguard (same ones I used for Duros) They have knee and ankle articulation already, all you'll need too "fix up" is the hips. Safeguard's another "perfect" figure for headmaster heads...

Is it the same Safeguard that came with Vector Prime?

Man...all this time going to TRU, seeing that ugly doo-doo brown Vector Prime. :D  Now I need it, and they'll probably be out of them, LOL.

yep. that's usually the way it works. You're in TRU one day and they are falling off the shelves, then when you need it, they're all sold out.

Spike looks good . I hope you're planning to make the upper legs a little more thick.

Those aren't the legs, just what I'm using to hold the figure up. :D
