I just checked to see if mine's still here. haha, that's great. Those SS upper legs come in more handy than Unicrons lol!

lol, they're really handy, almost as handy as unicrons lol

yes, they're sideswipe's thighs. it's one of the easiest mods you'll ever do. u unscrew SS's bottom legs and unscrew slag's bottom legs, and pop slag's into SS's thighs, screw them on, and there you go. although you have to trim a tad bit from the slag leg, but just a tiny bit.

    very awesome mod JAF!

LOL! Yeah, when I got Slag, the legs were already swapped to SS's. Same with Sludge's legs. Mike gets that credit. Both of those were based on Ptitvite's articulated ones.

But man this came out great. Super fast too man, well done. I also though a similar thing as Mike, "did he color on of the WIP shots I posted?" but alas, you are just a bashing machine.

    Now do the rest...

Great job. I can't believe that we only got 1 Dinobot in the Classics/Universe line. Although the animated ones are nice, they just don't fit in w/ the Classics style...this one totally does.

    Wonderful!!!

I hope you take more pics and submit him to the gallery, man, he looks wonderful. what'd ya use for elbows? I recognize the lambo thighs anywhere, and they fit great.

Cool! I've had a G2 Slag that I've been tempted to try something like this with... great job! The paint work really takes it to the next level.

The only thing I might add is a peg and socket on his back and top of his tail. It always bugged me the way it would just hang behind him... better if it could fold up onto his back.

I have it on my massive list to do this for my Classics Dinobots too. I felt that adding articulation, and replacing their thighs would pretty much be all that was needed beyond painting on their sticker details to get them to fit the aesthetic... they're so detailed already that the skinny legs and brickishness was really the only things keeping them from looking modern.
