hey guys! I'm not a part of any other figure custom community since I primarily collect TF`s so let me know some other sites you guys are active on and I will post future non-TF`s there.

but for now check out my lethally articulate 7" Alien WIP!

he was an AVP McFarlane battle alien and I used ten joints from my xevoz and two larger ones for the waist and neck. and I gave the tail a joint so he can stab under neath his legs.

painting is going to fun i plan on giving this guy like ten coats of clear coat for that slobbery death shine. Im just starting out painting my work so plz tell me whats good if u know how to gloss better than model master clear coat.

let me kno what you think!

That looks pretty kick-ass so far. Someone here in the forums found a method to use the twisty-ties that come with the figures as joints for fingers. I think it involves a dremmel, a small drill, and a steady hand. I'm not too sure, though...

That's a fantastic method! that way you won't snap the metal or whatever.

Love the alien, but with the Revoltech Alien out there now and already owning a Microman Alien I'm pretty much done with Alien :p

of course revoltech is a superior sculpt, but of a lesser Xenomorph IMO.

the revoltech is of the the first Alien film, which is bang on. but thats like trying to say a clean Honda is better than a dirty Ferrari.

I much prefer this breed, just look at that tooth pick of a tail and tiny hands and feet. McFarlane has done the old Aliens but why would I want chicken when i could have deadly-predator-fighting steak? :p

hes not much, but hes mine and hes done :p

be leave it or not, he was "painted" with just a permanent marker (a true black, not a purple-ish tinge sharpie) that happened to have a great shine to it, but a gloss coat is in his future for sure, but this is as far as i post a non-Tf here.

all this guy took was some xevoz joints (that hurt, don't own stikfas) and a utility knife and some epoxy putty. gotta love that stuff.

    lawl.. these pics are ginormous...
