    Their choices make me somewhat concerned. Many of the above films' comedic stylings would not mesh well with what is essentially a sci-fi war story. The comment about "squeezing out additional humor" is rather depressing as well, because it makes it sound like they're going to try to push that angle to a level that makes the film corny or lowbrow. I hate to draw up comparisons once again to the comic book movies that have come out in recent years, but none of them had to resort to sight gags or slapstick in order to make a huge impact at the box office. Combine that with some of the cheesy dialogue in that early script draft, and I may end up just seeing this movie for the visuals.

    I am reminded of the scene in Jurassic Park 2 where the little girl does gymnastics to defeat the velociraptor...
