Today's Wall Street Journal's Marketplace section has an article (which can be found on pages B1 and B7) on the future of Hasbro. The article discusses new marketing strategies in Latin America, Russia, Poland, and the Czech Republic. The article also mentions the programming for the new Cable Channel. The programming based off Hasbro's brands and original ideas. The article mentions Tonka and My Little Pony, the My little Pony show was created by Lauren Faust (who created "The Powerpuff Girls" and "Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends.) Orci and Kurtzman are writing for the channel. With those new shows hopefully this can be considered further proof that there will be a new Transformers show.

I don't know where WSJ got that info but it's wrong. Lauren Faust is married to Craig McCracken who created "The Powerpuff Girls" and "Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends. She did help out the the show production.

Oh and do you have the link for that article?

The video is great. Their marketing strategy has been on the top of the changing trends. They make an effort to adjust to the times. Something that keeps them ahead from companies like Mattel.

And to counter you I hope we get a sequel to Transformers Animated. However, for the time being I think we're getting some War For Cybertron stuff first.

It's always good that they're trying to expand though. I'm interested in what they are pulling for their own channel. It should be interesting since all the programming will technically be advertisements. XD

You might as well not watch Transformers cartoons anymore. Hasbro already stated that Animated is their new benchmark for future TF shows.

I'm surprised we don't get more of these blokes slamming the Animated kitbashes and customs for being "hideous" and "done by a five year old".

I want a sequel to TFA more than anything. I highly doubt it will be though. :(

What I hope Hasbro will do is have a stable TF show that has great storyline with characters that is interesting and developed well. I'm getting really tired of continuity reboots.

I'd like a continuation of TFA, but I'm open to anything as long as it's cool.

I agree with your statement. Hasbro is becoming much more than just a toy company.
