    :wtf: Wait, shouldn't Ben Procter's name be on the book, not Furman's? The comic stuff is not what got me back into Transformers, hope this isn't an early sign of dissapointment.

    In my observation, these type of art books aren't usually written by the artists themselves, but by other writers who sometimes had nothing to do with the production.

    Correct. The previous DK produced guide books were credited to Furman too, basically the guy who does the write up for the books. Credits for the design, depending on the editorial type, may or may not even appear in the book.

    It's very hard to credit a single guy like Ben Procter when something the TF brand is usually inter-disciplinary with the involvement of Hasbro/Takatomy.

    Especially since Ben Procter isn't the only concept artist involved with this film.
