Great to see them actually call themselves the Outsiders. Canary using her scream to stop the train was great. Everything else was kind just meh. There's nothing inherently wrong, it's just boring. This season is doing absolutely nothing we haven't already seen before. Cayden James makes Damien Darhk look exciting. I really hope they decide to end Arrow with this season as it is quite clear they are out of ideas. End the season with Diggle taking up the mantle of Green Arrow and call it good. If they feel the need to continue, retitle the show Green Arrow and the Outsiders and make it something entirely new that those that are done can stop watching and those that are new can come in without having to know 6 season's worth of material.
Oh look, another super hero who has someone close to them die and not wants revenge, how original. When is this show going to start doing something new again? In fact, how much longer do we have to deal with Cayden James? Isn't it time to finish this long and tedious plot so we can go back to the Deathstroke and his son storyline? I am bored to death right now. This whole thing should have been no more than 6 episodes in total as Cayden is just not an interesting villain one bit. I'm also finding it hard to believe than Anatole is really on his side.
I'm actually enjoying Cayden James since I'm watching Person of Interest with friends. So Evil Finch is funny to me.
Nice to see Elena again, and working with Felicity in the bunker of all places. Snappy thinking on Felicity’s part in getting Vincent to repeat some of her technical know-how to Cayden James in order to preserve his cover. Quentin and Thea were fools to think they could change Black Siren into Black Canary. Black Siren is an evil, irredeemable bitch who had a hand in the death of William’s birth mother and putting Thea in a 6 month coma. The way I see it killing Vigilante is her 3rd strike and for that, she deserves to die! So someone fabricated that video footage of Green Arrow killing Cayden James’ son in order to get revenge on Oliver and in doing so, Cayden has killed numerous innocent people and is wreaking havoc on Star City. But what’s the end game and who's responsible? My theory about the end game, I’m thinking The Sum of All Fears (Austrian Neo-Nazi and his faction create a series of events to trigger a nuclear war between the United States and Russia). The same could be happening here. Whoever fabricated that video footage of Green Arrow killing Cayden James’ son is someone who wants to destroy both Oliver and Cayden James. But instead of going after them directly, he or she is manipulating them both in order to get them to destroy each other. As for who’s responsible, I can think of three possiblities: Talia Al Ghul, Evelyn Sharpe, Agent Watson. Talia seems like a strong one seeing how her sister Nyssa is slated to return later on. The flashbacks of Vincent and Dinah of their last undercover assignment from start to finish helped to bring a better perspective and understanding of Vince and Dinah’s history and relationship. Plus the inclusion of Captain Singh provided some good connectivity to The Flash. Makes me wonder if Vincent and/or Dinah ever worked with Joe West. So cruel that Dinah had to witness Vince’s death again and go through all that pain and grief again. Looks like Dinah will revert to who she was before Oliver recruited her. Hope she raises hell loud and clear if you know what mean!
That facial expression Quentin had when Thea told him about what happened to Vigilante seems to say exactly that.
I can't stand Cayden James, but Wild Dog is catching up. Not a fan of this much supporting cast in Arrow and Flash.
The one who might be pulling the strings behind the Green Arrow vs Cayden James conflict! Arrow - Season 6 - Kyra Zagorsky Joins Cast
- Nice 2 second cameo of Barry "flashing" Oliver and Dig to intercept Cayden. At least this time, Dig didn't throw up this time. - As foolish as it was, William was very brave to go to where Cayden and and the bomb was. - Sweet move Dinah made using a Nazi Earth-X power-dampening collar on Black Siren and hats off to Cayden for slapping Black Siren's face. - So disappointed that Black Siren survived, and still foolish of Quentin to think that he can change her! - So not only does Richard Dragon have a few city officials and cops (including the new police captain) in his pocket, HE was the one who murdered Cayden son, Owen! He should be called Richard Demon from now on!
What was the point of having Barry take Oliver and Diggle to Cayden if they weren't going to have him be there? That was just pointless. On one hand, I am so glad to be done with this Cayden James stuff. On the other, I swear this season is trying to win an award for having every television trope that exists in one season.
Lol. They can't use Deathstroke because he's on the live action movies now. He got embargo'd again and his quest to find his son is basically how they're sending him off.
That doesn't make sense. They said they were no longer going to do embargoes because it was ******ed. Then again, as I just said in the Lobo thread, WB seems to be regressing rather than learning from their past mistakes. BTW, why are Flash and Arrow taking the rest of the month off? I thought Feb was like the month everyone wanted to air new episodes during due to sweeps?
'Hey barry there's a massive bomb hidden in the city, but instead of helping to look for that can you give us a lift - these blackmail payments mean we can't afford an Uber...'
The whole point was to intercept Cayden James before he could leave town so that they could show him solid evidence that Oliver didn't murder Cayden's son in the hopes of persuading him to not denontate the thermobaric bomb. Besides, Barry has his own set of problems! Like the fact that he just got out of jail after being framed for a murder that he didn't commit and the person responsible is still out there and in a new, metahuman body.
It's Barry. He is a real super hero. If they asked him to help find the bomb, he would. BTW, whatever happened to Oliver being under investigation for being Green Arrow? That plot has just disappeared.
What does that have to do anything? For one thing, there is a reason this thing called DVR exists. Secondly, why would they punish the people who don't waste their time with such overrated crap?
Not everyone has DVRs. Live viewings are still important rating-wise and they know the Olympics take viewership from other shows. Just because you don't care about them doesn't mean others don't care. Besides, we know this time a year, shows take weeks breaks anyways. Just this year, they get to take them during the Olympics.
Does the Arrowverse hate Lanterns? First they completely changed the origin of the Black Flash. He's suppose to be a zombie version of the Flash reanimated by a Black Lantern ring. The Black Flash we get in this universe is a Zombie version of Zoom and I'm not entirely clear on why he returned as a zombie other than the fact he was apparently sent after Reverse Flash who isn't suppose to exist anymore. But no Lantern ring in sight. In the last episode of Arrow I saw, there's an ARGUS soldier with a very familiar name who introduces himself and then gets killed minutes later. I'm not going to reveal too much about this guy by saying what his name actually is but in the comics he was a Green Lantern. There are at least five different Green Lanterns that I know of, and that's not counting aliens, and I don't even think mentioning his job with ARGUS would give it away since I don't think any of them ever worked with ARGUS in the comics. I can also safely mention he's an Asian guy in the series because he wasn't in the comics so that also won't give away which Green Lantern he was. But yeah Arrow introduced a Green Lantern just to kill him minutes later. I wander if the actor knew what character he was playing and what his reaction was when he learned he was going to die before ever being able to become a super hero. So this just made me wander, do the producers of these shows hate the Lantern ring powers? They change the origin of a black lantern so he's not even a lantern in this universe and kill a guy who's suppose to become a Green Lantern... like normally ARGUS soldiers would just be nameless extras but this guy takes the time to introduce himself name dropping a Green Lantern before getting killed. That just feels like the writers are going out of their way to tell the audience the Lantern Rings are never going to appear in any of these shows. Why do they hate Lanterns so much? The over powered Kryptonians are OK for the CW but apparently multicolored alien rings that can create anything it's user can image are out of the question. I could understand this mind set back before the existence of super powers when Arrow was more grounded in reality having only powerless characters but they've had freaking Magic users on the show now so why do they seem to hate Lanterns. In case you're wandering who I've been talking about... Spoiler Technically he should also be much older. Just like Barry Allen who is not the original Flash, Jay Garrick is. Hal Jordan also isn't the original Green Lantern, Alan Scott is. The Asian ARGUS solder who introduces himself and then dies soon after is Alan Scott. They name dropped the original Green Lantern, made him younger for some reason, changed his race, which they also did with the entire West family, and had him killed. He basically introduces himself just so the people in the audience who recognize that name know Green Lantern is never going to happen in this universe. They probably should of used Hal Jordan or John Stewart, you know a name more people might actually recognize. I'm not sure how many people watching Arrow are even going to know who Alan Scott is. I recognized the name as soon as I heard it, got really excited for a minute and then disappointed when he died. I'm also wandering if they hate the Blue Beetle. Kord Industries which is owned by Ted Kord, the original Blue Beetle has shown up in multiple episodes of Arrow and Flash and every time it's mentioned they end up getting robbed. Kord Industries has been around ever since the first season of Arrow but there's still no mention of Blue Beetle existing in this universe, they keep using his company as the butt of a running joke so does that mean there's no chance of him ever actually appearing as a super hero?
