I like how the arms will allow for things like energon axes to be plugged in.

I realized early on when designing them that having separate hands and the 5mm slot, would not only give the option for other hands to be used but the option for weapons to be plugged straight in. It means that they can be used independently of the rest of the armour!

For my own project, I think I'll be doing swappable hands, too. Perhaps even swappable faceplates. I could have an extra accessory set available on Shapeways for Little Orphan Android.

I can't wait for the next update. I really want to see this come together.

I need to get the prototype of the leg to see how well it actually works on figure. Am currently waiting for the hand proto to be printed along with the finalised lower arms. I still need to design and incorporate shoulders, chest plate and figure out what I'm doing with the head.

I sometimes wonder what I've gotten myself into, as I initially had only planned to do an apex armour for classics prime, but after I'd prototyped the arm section it somehow became powermaster armour!

I look forward to seeing pictures of Prime with his armor. This is exciting.

Any idea how much it will cost to have everything?

Alot, even in WSF. Each arm piece is $11.95, once I've checked that the hands works I was going to sell them as a pair, which is looking at being $11.30 for he pair (they are articulated!), and the trailer leg section is where the major cost comes in as at he moment a single leg is $57.40 ,although this one leg I'm proto-ing at he moment does come with the trailer hitch!

Sounds like quite an undertaking. I may have to order one of these when it's all done. Just be sure to model an energy axe, too.

How will you connect all of his parts into a trailer?

There in lies the fun (or is that challenge!?)

There's a protrusion on the folding side panel that slots into the gap on the arm section (the gap is there to accommodate the truck/cab kibble), and the trailer hitch then plugs into the 5mm slots on the end.
