I wondered what that was in the background of your Megatron WIP pics... sweet! What is it made from?
f'n sweet and awesome. really clean look for that dude. have you tried replacing the trailer wheels with something more similar to Armorhides wheels?
That looks FANTASTIC. Wow, the white/blue/silver color scheme is very classy, and I love the computer-screen decorations inside the trailer. Man, my Armorhide suddenly feels extremely incomplete.
Have you thought about painting the grille of the truck silver? Like with a silver Sharpie or paint? It might look really nice with the trailer. And hey, you could get an LOC Evac figure and paint it up like that helicopter.... then Armorhide would have a little transforming buddy.
On the other hand, Roller didn't transform. Hmm, maybe in that vein, you could name the helicopter "Spinner."
Very nice job.
There is a whole thread about the armorhide trailer.
This is one of the coolest things I've seen. Any plans to sell it? I would buy one of those.
the only problem with selling it is he'd never be able to make another one as the sticker set is retired. We had the giveaway open for at least a month. I love seeing other people's versions though! Its a cool feeling when you see something you designed being used by someone else.
Looks pretty damn spiff
Biglots now has this and the police version (same trailer) for 4$ if anyone's having trouble finding any.
Nice work. I'm just begining work on my own trailer. How did you remove the two big pins from it? The side that you are supposed to hammer from is covered up by the front part of the trailer. Or has everyone been painting it withought removeing them pins? Thanks. peace out.
Just got mine today and put 'em on while watching my Masterforce DVD, so it was a good TF afternoon.
This is the first set of stickers I've ever received from Repro Labels, and I was really suprised by the quality. I've held off buying from them 'cause I wasn't sure what I'd be getting, and I'm definitely a believer now. They're much better than I remember the originals being. I've got a Backstreet coming off Ebay soon that'll be begging for new stickers.
No pin removal.
Just sprayed one angle at a time and let dry.
I saw the white version of the one with the helicopter today. Kinda wanted the blue one, but I'm just gonna wait it out since I've seen them a lot lately.
So you just painted over them then. Ok. I wasn't sure if it would mess anything up or not. Thanks. Peace out.
How did you do the trailer hitch?
I used the existing trailer hitch and whittled it down with a hobby knife until it fit.
The trailer props are fashioned from a micromaster that made the ultimate sacrifice.
