I have recently bought the reprolabel set for armor topspin aka my twin twist, but something really bothers me and its the clampo weapon. I'm wondering if such a mod is possible to either outright replace those clamps with halves of a drill weapon or to turn those clamps into the drill halves.

If you're not concerned about the clamps, you could just remove them and place a drill over the cannon. You could trim down the pieces that held the clamps, or fill in the gap with apoxie sculpt, or some other putty. I did something similar, only I left the clamps on - I just flipped them. I think it looks ok... almost like a crossbow. Granted, a crossbow drill doesn't make a lot of sense, but I just try not to think about it :)

I have a pair of Cybertron Menasor drills. I could make slackerforhire's mod possible. PM me for details.

I like that mod but its not quite what I'm envisioning for mine. I may tinker around and do my first major kitbash
