    Hey Guys,
I may have the potential of getting a Unicron that has everything except Dead end for relatively cheap.

How hard is it to find a Dead End for sale? Anyone know any place that sells parts to some of the newer toys?

how cheap are you talking? because unicron is still being sold in stores. probably at toys r us in clearance by now. BUT the minicon isn't THAT important to it. but i would suggest trying to get a complete one. for they are not THAT expensive.

and i know i used to buy incomplete transformers all the time, thinking that i could buy the parts later on, for g1's it's easy to find those parts, but for the later lines, not so well.

but you can probably try the Junkion forum. i am sure there are a lot of Radicon's that have gutted unicron that might not care about the minion con or might be selling it :lol

I actually wish that I could fill in the dent that he sits in and ignore him. Pretty pointless if you ask me...but I'm not a huge fan of mini-cons.

That means a real-life price of around $5.00.

With how many combiner customs are based on Unicron, there's bound to be a pretty good supply of Dead End's (and heads, wings, feet...) on the Exchange, if not evilBay.

Yikes.. At $25 for dead End I might as well get the one from Toys R us I've seen. :)
Ultimately I'd only be saving a few bucks after that and ontop of that I'd have the box.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of the minicons either.. I just would hate to see that hole in his planet..

    Pft...

You know how many collectors have it in their heads to fill out Unicron's ring with a full set of Dead End Mini-Cons? A lot.

Between trying to convince some schlub to sell off his Dead End and trying to score one out of Micron Booster 3, people routinely pay between $15 and $25 to pick these little guys up.

It's not to say you can't find them for a couple of bucks, but that's usually a parts-bin find and the person selling isn't paying attention.

I can vouch for this. If you find a dead-end from the exchange you might get him for $5-$10 but he'll go for at least $15 on ebay (stupid ebay). Micron Booster dead-ends are hard to come by because of the way that MB3 was packed.

You don't really need Dead End for unicon. Just consider it a crater/battle impact site on unicron.

Wow. I learned something new today. I was just making a joke about 'Con prices, and it turns out the figure does sell for silly amounts (I checked around).
    Damn.

Yeah, the problem with your first statement is that before the reissue came out, a complete Unicron was still pulling $40 off of the junkion and ebay and most combiner customs based on unicron's body parts were bought for $20.

    Replacement for Dead-End figure.

I gave this suggestion to Demonss and I'll share it with everyone else,if you cant find the figure or dont want to pay a ridiculous price for it why noy use a Bakugan figure as a substitute mini-con? They are pretty much the same size, you have different alt.modes to choose from, and I'm sure they will fit in the mini-con ports on Unicron as well as transforming to a ball the same way Dead-End does.

Wow! They really go for that much? I'm so pleased I got a complete Unicron (plus box) for £20. I am forever grateful to JetnotSkyFire.

If you really want crazy prices, go find a Bug General.

Don't worry, I'll wait here. With tissues.

We're talking about a minicon that came with a mass release AND reissued figure going for $10-$25 by itself. You know what's really funny? As far as I know, the dead-end that came with LD Green Unicron isn't any different.

And while we're at it. Has anybody actually seen a Energon Dead-End for sale?

:lol  I didn't even think of that. Why did you? :p

videriant, you weren't ripped off. You might be on the shipping cost - 12 Mini-Cons don't cost $12 to ship - but certainly not on the cost of figures themselves. I'd expect you to pay that much for the General alone.

Yeah, I was aware of the shipping and factored that into the cost, $68 shipped. Seller has +300 feedback so that's pretty reliable.

I remember one of the japanese sellers at botcon have a general/drone 2-pack but can't remember what he wanted for it.
