I've got Runamuck and he sure is ugly. But I think that ugliness works on a Decepticon. In fact I think he looks kinda badass. The other versions are teh crap though.

the car mode is actually pretty badass. I think I'll glue him into that mode and call it a model car. Mabey I'll borrow his head. I have an idea for a kitbash.

 

If so many people are pissed about Armada Sideswipe being a hunk of crap, then why don't they saw the midsection that restrains his leg articulation off, therefore having 2 separate legs and then doing something about the arms.
I've seen the mold and yes. There are some things I don't like about it. But I don't stand back and whine about it.

Just saying that do something about the mold. Customize it.

He already has separate legs.

I think he's pretty cool. In car mode that is. The flipout bike is one of the rarer gimmicks I actually like. Botmode is good for having your other bots beat up on him. His head mold rawks
You can't make all your TF's ultra badass, there's got too be victims too, and poor ol Wheelie is tired.

On topic, I don't hate this mould. It's ok to have one around, but 4 of them is a bit crazy.
I suppose having a cool alt mode and being sold in that mode deceives first time buyers. I don't think kids mind the robot mode, though. My son loves Arm Sideswipe.

im getting the feeling that your not a huge fan of this mold  . I feel your pain not only does it look crap but it has no articulation, well it does but as much as the old g1 figures had. The thing i hate most about it is his naff minicon.....i mean it looks more like a camera and stand rather then a a robot.

unless its been pruned, i've posted massive ammounts of rants about galaxy force runabout. now i'd finally laid that ghost to rest. someone had to bring it up again. i'm going to lie down.

 

Armada Sideswipe is one of the coolest figures to come out of that line. Im being serious too, and I 've seen Transfans be far more forgiving to crappier figures.

 

He's so ugly he's cool. I have Runamuck and Oil Slick. I bought Runamuck for the homage, and Oil Slick 'cause I like the color scheme. He's pretty weak as a robot, but I like him anyway.
