I dont know if this has been posted

Is it me or was there a lot of mistakes, for example when they say the same things for different stuff, and sometimes the insignius were badly drawn or shows as a decepticon or auto bot, for example, hot shot with a decepticon symbol in episode "The Past, Part 2"

    Has anyone noticed this?

Yes. Armada was chock full of mistakes. Some are script related others are done by the animation studio. I hear the japanese version many things were revised but were the errors fixed?

Basically, the story behind the huge number of animation mistakes in Armada is that the American side rushed productiion of Arrmada to quickly screen it on Cartoon Network. As such they ended up with half-done animation, because the Japanese had not finished post-production editing and touch ups. Hence why Armada looks like crap, but if you instead watch its Japanese counterpart Micron Densetsu, not only will you get less mistakes, but alot better art and animation as well.

That said, the fact that... what, TWO? ...episodes of Micron Legend have managed to make their way online, we don't really know exactly how much animation was cleaned up/corrected for the Japanese version. This site compares the two versions of "Link Up," but that's all that's ever been done publically.

yeah. Primes is supposed to be sparkplug and megatron has leader-1. But the first time they mentioned those minibot names they were both called leader-1.

There are a few spots where face plates disappear. can't stand cyclonus and scavenger's snorring snot bubbles. wth was that about?

It seems like EVERY Minicon was named Leader-1 at some point.

Armada was horrible with errors, while most made their way through dubbing, there's a lot of WTF animation errors.
A lot of mini-cons were called Leader-1. Which sucked because I liked Leader-1.

Armada had WAY more mistakes than G1. IMO, Armada must have BEEN a mistake as a whole.

Worst Armada mistake for me was the Starscream/Thundercracker screw up. They were to be independent characters I believe.

I don't think that was a screw-up of the show. That was just how Hasbro decided to release the toys - by having Starscream's 'powered-up' version as a different character. They did the same thing in Energon with Landmine/quake, Cliffjumper/Beachcomber, Jetfire/Overcast and Inferno/Roadblock. This was probably an attempt by Hasbro to prevent overuse of character's names, therfore reducing the chance of less buying because of parent's saying "No, you already have that guy!".

Or something like that, I dunno, I'm just speculating.

I just remember a lot of animation errors and constant stream of the same minicons running around like the back drop of a Jetson's cartoon...

From what I've heard, all the repaints, including Thundercracker, were supposed to be new characters. It is just that the Japanese side disregarded that little memo and made the repaints justy powered up versions of previous characters.
