Funny how this is happening to A lot of us, I just sold off my entire TF collection, I'm not stopping just resetting, going for Boxed G1 and MP I think.

I really hope he comes back. It's been too quiet here. :(

As for sightings, went to the nearly finished Hastings in Russellville. They have plenty of the Loyal Subject Vinyl TFs that were exclusive there. They were 70% off with an additional 20% off after that. If my math is right...

"Dead" Optimus Prime - $8.40 (marked down from $34.99) (Picked up one of these)
Glow in the Dark Blitzwing or Rumble - $4.08 (marked down from $16.99)
    G2 Grimlock - $3.36 (marked down from $13.99)

Might be a couple of months before Russellville's Walmart even restocks anything TF. I know the NuRID deluxe and TR Legends pegs have been empty for about that long and they have yet to get anything from TR wave 2.

Also, it does not help that we really dont need sightings anymore except for the occasional sale item. With BBTS we can pretty much get whatever we need. I only check here like once a month, and with our distribution channels around here its just infuriating trying to grab that one bot you want. Im looking at you Sky Lynx that I had to pick up off of ebay for 45 bucks...

I scaled my collecting way back too, only Masterpieces and the occasional fill in to complete my Chug collection though this Titan Master/ Head Master stuff is getting me going again since I like to have new versions of original characters to fill in said CHUG line.

BBTS is fine for masterpiece, 3rd party, etc. but for the regular retail line, it's just not the same as seeing them in the wild. Nothing beats a good hunt with friends.

About 5-10 years ago, I would have agreed with this whole heartedly. I used to love the fun of traveling around and finding new stuff. But now , it's getting harder to even find regular retail stuff at retail anymore and the way distribution is, especially with some of the harder to find retail figures like RTS Windcharger or CW Sky Lynx, it's just easier to go online for regular releases too.

i don't mind online stuff sometimes but I do like going to the store and looking as well. some things are too inflated in price to order from stores like bbts and tfsource. I try to get things off ebay when I cannot find them locally.

Russellville Ross looks like they finally got some new toys in stock. Not much TF wise though except for a Voyager Motormaster (plus the Battle Core Prime I picked up) for $12.99. Didn't have time to hit TJ Maxx next door though.

Russellville Wal-Mart has another TR Blaster and PM Optimus and 2 TR Galvatrons on the bottom shelf.

More like an "Un-Sighting" but neither Russellville Walgreens have Brainstorm in case anyone was thinking of checking up here.

Friend of mine got a Brainstorm for me for a late BD present and later last night, I found one hanging on the pegs at the Russellville Walgreens across from Harps and Western Sizzlin on the east side of town. :)

And Walgreens has a 20% off coupon available online too to make it cheaper. Friends and Family Event | Walgreens

Snagged a Brainstorm at the Van Buren Walgreens no sign of wave 2 Titan return anywhere.

Russellville Wal-Mart restocked NuRID Warriors again with Windblade's wave. They had 1 of her left and 2 Scorponoks.

Wow, this thread has really died down. Russellville Wal-Mart had a TR deluxe restock with wave 2 figures and still rolled back to $9.88.
