I was trying to get this very toy, well the red version of him, and i thought i did. When i got my hands on him it turned out that he was really a real working FM radio. So now i have both a working AM radio transformer, Robotic Radio, and a working FM radio. Never the less, its a great figure. Lots of articulation and i just looks cool. If your on the fence about getting this guy, just do it. Its a easy way of having a transformer at work and your co-workers just thinking its an old radio.

Before today, I never knew that companies other than Hasbro and Takara made official Transformers in other countries. I had always thought everything that came out elsewhere were just repaints of HasTak molds. If I wasn't saving every cent for Botcon I might just pull the trigger on this guy. Are there any other unique-mold Transformers that were sold in other countries but not America or Japan?

Yeah, there are of quite a few "official" new molds that were released in Argentina.

*Sniff* The auction ended before I got a chance to bid, and at such a low price!

Microchange Blaster is my favorite piece in my collection, and this would have been a sweet companion for him :/

Oh well, some day, some day..

Wonderful in its abundance of crummyness.

It looks like a cross between Blaster, Soundwave and any genero-knock-off... kinda charming, actually. :)

There's actually a ton of licensed toys and non-toy stuff from the G1 days that was only released in various places like Argentia. Minibot recolors were abundant back then.

How about that. I just spent a little time poking around on that Super Toy Archive site. Besides the Eletrix and Bat-Robo toys which are... let's just say... yeeeshh! I didn't see anything that looked on par with this AM Radio Robot. Do you have any more information about unique-mold toys sold under the Transformers brand name?

Do we have this bot in our Resources? If we do, I missed it! I hope someone contributes if we don't.

Congrats to the buyer of the auction! It looks like a really cool piece.

Joe, you've really been nailing these fp updates here; keep up the good work :thumb
