Are you still holding on to your dreams, even though you see them as impossible?

I was in Anderson, Indiana yesterday checking out the old city, the two 1930's theaters, and just having a nice day. On the way back, I saw a 1960's, out of buisness 2 screen theater next to an old little mall. My dream of owning a small theater that shows old (especially horror) movies came flooding back to me. However, I know there's no way that something like that in this age could make any money, so it's a dream that will never see the light of day. If I was rich though, hell, I'd lose the money and do it just for fun.

Anyone else have any impossible dreams they just won't let die?

I still have goals in life I'd like to achieve, but reaching them may be highly improbable, although not impossible. I'd like to be a multimillionaire one day for example. I know it's everybody's goal to be rich but I want to be one of the few people who actually made it even though I am not that into money per se. I just want to be a success in life and not worrying about money is a nice bonus too.

All of my dreams on completely on schedule. Barring a poorly timed explosion, I have every reason to think I'll accomplish everything I want to do in my life.

Here's hoping all your explosions are well-timed.

Not quiet impossible, but it will definitely be a challenge to achieve my dreams one of which is directing and writing my own movie.

I've never really had dreams... I just kind of go with the flow. If there is something I want to do, I do it, though.

No. I've seen too many of my hopes go up in flames. I blame no one but myself for not being good enough to make them work.

I wake up every morning (well, every lunch time) knowing that I'm going to be wrong at least once that day... And I'm likely to fuck something up at least once a week.

I'm too negative to have hopes and dreams and such. Like just the other day, I got the umpteenth chance to do something I've wanted to do since February... And I passed. I can't see past the effort required to get somewhere.

Dreams of a better tomorrow are what get me to uncurl from the fetal position and crawl out of bed every morning.

    Thanks, guy.

And I think I'll be commandering that as a toast for the Beer Fest I'm attending this weekend.

Everything that I have wanted to do in my life I have done. Everything that I want to do in the future will happen because I have a goal and I am a very goal oriented person. The only long term goal that I have for my professional career at the moment is to eventualy get promoted to investigator.

I took my hockey dreams and still managed to turn it into a career, so I guess it's something to be happy about.

I have goals that are on track, but as far as dreams go...

I've always wanted to own a lil' used bookstore kind of thing, but that's not happening in this world. Also, same deal with a drive-in, though, I think that's actually semi-feasable, if I can get my career really going and get some moneys together.

My drive-in would be awesome, I tell you!

I gave up on my dreams long ago, I'm much happier without them.
