I am. Looks better in some areas compared to TF1. Especialy in terms of robot designs. So are you?
Yep, I have no complaints.
Can I get back to you when I've seen the movie?
Yes, it looks awesome!!
Looks a lot darker and sounds more menacing which is never a bad thing for a sequal: Empire strikes back.....anyone. Obvisouly itll have to go a long way to beat thta as a sequal.
so far looks to be between two towers and empire strikes back in terms of sequel quality, leaning more towards empire
At the moment i'm thinking it looks much better than the first, i like all the new funky designs, i mean they are robots in disguise in alt mode so robot mode shouldnt have to look liek a human because they hardly disappear in a crowd because they have two legs lol
tone yes qaulity well have to wait and see...
Eh. I've never really dug Bay's "hot summer day" color scheme from his films, but I did like most of Transformers 1. I am very happy that we get to see the bots during daytime, and look realistic.
The shaky up close cam stuff is too much sometimes. He just needs to pull it back a little so we can get the bigger picture, and appreciate the amount of work put into full body models that ILM creates.
One of my fav shots from the first movie was when Blackout landed, and menacingly was approaching Megs and Optimus fighting, with his rotor blade spinning.
I'm very well satisfied with the designs and alt-modes for ROTF.
SATISFIED?! I'm so full of satisfaction that I could explode!
No. But to be fair I really didn't find anything appealing about the look of the first movie so that should be considered in my answer.
At least there do seem to be some steps forward this time though. I kind of like the look of Ravage where I really didn't like the look of any of the robots in the first movie. Although I could complain about the heads for a very long time the twins did have a lot more painted parts in robot mode and they did have fists so that's also a step forward.
I don't know though the trailer just sent a rather bad message of things I don't like in a Bay movie like scenes that are too dark, jumpy cut scenes, things like that. Oh and I wish they wouldn't have shown one wheeled bots because that just doesn't seem all that appealing.
But I'll be foolish and say while the look might not be hitting it for me maybe the writers slipped a good story past the director and it could all somehow end up fun after all.
Loving it thus far, just like I loved the first movie.
I agree with everyone in that I'm completely satisfied and excited about what we know so far.
Definitively there are better designs this time than in the first movie !!
I'd have to say yes. Though the only thing I'm not keen on are the wheel bots such as the biker ckick bots and the constructicon that we saw, but I can very easily over look that as they still look wicked as hell.
My jury is still out. The overall look of the movie seems darker, which is a natural progression, but I don't want it to be too dark. I hope it maintains an air of fun and magic that helped make TF1 so appealing.
The bot designs are consistent with the first movie, but its hard for me to say whether I like them or not. I learned from TF1 that pictures don't do the designs full justice; that we need to see them in motion in order to "get it."
I think he means by what designs we've seen so far
Any way...um... i think they're really cool, and i think that the new, um, "risks" they're takin (arcee as three robots, combiners in general, wheel feet/foot, etc.) are really awsome
Separate names with a comma.
