    Fought the
    Kraken
yesterday. Then I had a nightmare that I was fighting two of them at the same time in real life, with only a rocket pack and a pistol.

So I finally got this game for 360 last week. I've played about 4 hours so far.
Does it get better? Maybe I just don't like the game/it's not for me??

    Dunno...

It's because the 360 has more power, whereas the PS3 has more memory. (Which explains the need of only one disc)

That doesn't really explain much of anything. So having more storage space causes pop-up texture in a game? Then why was this such a HUGE issue in Mass Effect 1 on 360, but not on my PC?

One of the writers on our site has the 360 version and he says it happens on the 360 as well. Only the PC (with the update) is void of this. Thus, no, that's not it. And actually I thought the PS3 had less RAM, unless you're talking storage. In which case, the 360's install would have remedied the problem, but it didn't. So this has nothing to do with power.

^I was talking about storage on the ps3, and if there is any problem on the 360 version it is limited. (For me anyways)

There's no problem on either. It's texture pop-up. It doesn't hurt the game, it's just noticible And storage has nothin' to do with it. :)

Sorry about that I got confused, and I never said storage had anything to do with it, I just said that the PS3s storage was the reason that it only needs to use one disc. (My comments can be hard to understand)

Got it on pc and the way the texture loading is handled is annoying since if i turn around 180 i have to watch the textures load but that being said this actually increases the performance and i have never seen a frame rate drop at all. There are some issues with the graphics being buggy that i do hope get fixed in a patch.

That being said i love this game. It is so incredibly beautiful especially with the tweak that can allow it to run all the time with the 8k resolution textures that are only available on the pc version. And that starter pistol does not suck just the starting ammo for it. Load that bad boy up with some killbursts and enjoy. Great solid gameplay incredible AI for the enemies which is my favorite thing so far because it makes for an amazing combat experience and increases the challenge reasonably. Very happy with this purchase.

Oh with i can fully understand that. I am loving but this is not a game for everyone. For me it feels like a cross between Borderlands and Burnout with an awesome FPS engine and AI.

I keep wanting to like FPS games, but I just generally don't like them if they're not called Halo or Borderlands.

So I'm REALLY late to the Rage party but here are my 2 cents.

After picking the game up for five dollars last week, I'd say it was well worth the money.

    HOWEVER.....

That ending.... what was ID thinking?

I was expecting some huge, crazy monster. Instead, I killed a bunch of weak mutants and I didn't even get a chance to fire the awesome BFG:confused:

I literally saved all my ammo, thinking the main boss was ahead....

Lame! Loved the game, hated the ending
