As a fan of the film series I hope that it will live up to many expectations of certain fans. Personally all I care about is the chance to see a Police Academy movie in the theatre and hearing that wonderful theme booming in surround sound.

This movie better have the whole crew... I am willing to give it a chance. Hell, even Mission to Moscow was entertaining, not as entertaining as before...but still entertaining.

i like to see a few actors return, specifically Micheal Winslow and Leslie Easterbrook (blonde bombshell FTW).

and of course keeping the running gag of the Blue Oyster Bar and the song "El Bimbo".

YES! It has to be Procter(sp?) who goes into there again.

Pain and failure? Bad Reviews from critics? Tired rehashed jokes?

Tackleberry is dead unfortunately. Not sure if anyone else from the series died. The Big fat black guy House is dead. old Lady Mrs. Feldman (citizens on Patrol) is dead.

Agreed. One joke that is always funny. I heard they have great salads..

    Yup.. Him and Harris..

Apparently the Stonecutter's Guild still has enough power to "make Steve Guttenberg a star!" :lol

After the TV series, I do not have high hopes for any other Police Academy production.

WHAT!?! I didn't know Tackleberry died. He was my favorite too! Damnit!

So that leaves...Hightower, Jones, Mahoney, Harris, Procter, I can't remember the blondes name, but her and the Asian dude who was obsessed with her! And of course, Lassard. I guess you could use Hooks. GIVE US ZED and Sweetchuck!

If it's rated R, then it'll be full of win. Once the movies started going PG, the franchise really lost all appeal to me.

And honestly, I wouldn't mind a few people returning, but not the entire cast. Fresh faces actually in the academy please. Maybe like Guttenberg as the Commandant and Lt. Harris as an instructor scheming against Guttenberg.
