While Brian's Toys isn't known for their cheap prices or deals, this really surprises me, even as an artist:

    Original Artwork

Yes, I'm aware that these are original pieces. Yes, I'm aware that "collectors" may spend a lot for their things. Yes, as an fine arts major in college (with a B.A. on the subject, no less) who actually loves going to the art museums, I understand these things. That all being said, I really feel that these things should be priced half for what they're asking. Just my :2c:

Holy... I can't even begin to imagine how much money I'd need to have, and how complete my collection would have to be, before I'd even consider spending that sort of money on those.

So these are original boxart art? Wow.

Those are really cool but I can't help but think for the prices you could get an AFA MISB and a nice boxed opener of each and still have a pocket full of cabbage and the artwork to boot!

But that's just me making sense again.............

    And good luck to him.

Obviously he doesn't ACTUALLY want to sell them.

For those prices you could pay a Radicon to make a real version instead of a Painting/Drawing.

Those were on eBay earlier this year for a third of the prices they're asking. I wonder, were they unsuccessful sellers then, or did they buy them all hoping to turn a huge profit?

Personally I can see paying that much if they were a couple feet high or more, but IIRC they're not.

Sure, but that's a totally different discussion (but I feel ya there :) ).

I'm really surprised that Brian's Toys sells Transformers toys and the like (I've NEVER seen a good deal on TFs there. EVER.), but this is just crazy. Like I said, I understand a lot of what surrounds such a price tag, but even so, these are just way overpriced.

Nice pieces of TF history and all, but those prices are insane.

What do we expect from a site that lists Voltron in the Transformers catagory?

Simply put, if you buy one of these, you have more money than you have sense.

Then again, a fool and his money...
