I would like to but probally won't get him, if I see him and have the money I may.

The bendy weapons are a negative since they are a big part of the robot and alt mode.

I don't want to buy him then pay the exact same amount on a set of 3rd party hard swords, which someone should make.

Does any one have him in any poses with his legs bent like in a Samurai stance, how bad do his hip pads hinder his legs?

You can just call me Phil for short. XD

I'm one of the five or so Transfans that doesn't give a shit about Bludgeon. But I'm more than happy to spend the money I saved on his shipping roommate Recon Ironhide.

I can't buy this toy. I mean...isn't Bludgeon actually the smaller robot that hides inside the synthetic organic outer shell? I was there when the Pretenders were released, and I was a sad sad 13 year old kid when I saw those figures replacing the likes of Cyclonus, Scourage, and Hot Rod on the shelves at Target. Back then he struck me as the worst possible outcome of some bizzare clash between Skeletor and a mouthy Decepticon. I get it...I mean he's a pretty um unique looking 'bot, but the whole skeleton faced/tank thing doesn't fit into my collection. I already have enough wierd-o tanks sitting around, and I can't have a traditional looking Warpath unless I make it myself. Based on the number of possibilities out there for re-envisioned Transformers, I'm finding myself as bitter about Bludgeon today as I was in 1988. They could have done Topspin and Twintwist, or a combiner that wasn't crap. Even the Headmasters, the Insecticons...a bunch of un-touched G1 gems out there and they want me to buy another tank, but this time the tank turns into a 25 ft. tall samurai skeleton.

I'm only slightly bothered by the face, the "teeth" in particular...but who the hell cares, it's undeniably Bludgeon alright!

I just got mine yesterday... You can definitely tell he was designed as a Universe figure instead of movie. I can transform him back and forth without wanting to throw him against the wall. The only improvement I can think of is a better head. In any case, he'll fit in well on my Classics shelf.

    Ohio, huh?

That means he's on his way to Texas! There is hope, after all.

Wait...you did buy him in a store, right?
