I enjoyed the original 3 sisters and the first couple of years, after that, meh. My fave was Piper, Holly Marie Combs. She seemed to be a sweetie in RL as well as on set.

Yep, and they're probably still people who think it is, and same with Supernatural, Firefly, and possibly even Mutant X. Granted, Firefly being part of the Buffyverse kind of makes sense (especially since all of em are somewhat canon with real life), but its all good hah. In either case, Charmed was one of those shows that I always watched & gained a good appreciation for as a result (and not just because practically everyone on there was hot as hell), but never really made the effort to keep up with for whatever reason.

Oh, and speaking of Rose McGowan...

i've seen an episode here and there. the show isn't too bad. but my biggest problem with the show is that they seem to kill off one of the main characters *or some one else* then bring them back to life, in every episode. thus removing any impact on any character's death. because you know they can just bring them back to life. go back in time or something, reverse events. or what ever.

almost every story has had one major character die, and come back to life. this is FINE doing it once. but if you keep repeating it. like they do with Optimus Prime, suddenly the impact it once had, is no longer there.

when prime died in rotf, no one believed he was actually going to stay dead! and he didn't.

same problem with this show. if a character dies, they'll just be back at the end or something. but then again i am only going from the episodes i've seen. so i don't know if there are any "actual deaths" in it. but from what i have seen this has always happened anytime they've killed off a character.

kind'a why i stopped watching it. i just can't get invested in a show that has no sense of mortality to the characters.

Watched the show when it first aired. Mmmm, Alyssa Milano.

I think I lost interest after the second season.

Freaky - I was only just nosing at some season DVD boxsets in a secondhand shop this morning after not thinking about this shows for years.

I happily watched season 1-7 on telly and then it just seemed to vanish for ages and then suddenly I found out it had moved channel or something and I'd missed the airing of season eight. I've since got copies of it but I've just not gotten around to watching them.

Always enjoyed the show though, even if at times it got kinda creaky and ridiculous.
Surely a phrase repeated up and down the land. :)
    This too.

What's-her-face that played Piper not so much. And thingy that was the other one not at all.

If by 'fan' you mean fancy the pants of Alyssa Milano so much a restraining order wouldn't be out of place, then yes, I am a fan.

Of the show though, not so much. Cheap CG, bad plots etc didn't do it for me unfortunately.

I liked the first few seasons, but I thought the show really went off the rails by the end. The last year, in particular, is pretty much unwatchable.

I'm thinking that's probably why most people watched it really. Magical witchery storylines was mostly just a side-bonus to the main boners.

I'm not going to lie - the reason I started watching was because there was an episode where Alyssa Milano turned into a topless mermaid. :confused2

I watched it for a few years. They sure were lazy with their 'monsters/demons' that they all just looked like normal people. I remember one episode they kept saying a dragon was the enemy. Was it a cool looking lizard? Hell no. Some guy in a suit. I also find it pretty lame that every episode they can create a spell to kill the demon just by making a rhyme. Why was every type of demon in their magic book and how to kill it? Seems that if that info was in there, it should have been killed already. Now that I think of it, the show sorta sucks.
