Yes, some of the people on the forums whine about everything all day everyday. It has nothing to do with Transformers though, they are like that in their day to day lives as well. If they are not complaining about $1 price hike at Target on toys, they are whining about the cost of milk at the grocery store. Some people are just incessant whiners. Unfortunately the people in their lives are probably sick of their attitude and avoid them, so they come here and turbo whine to compensate.
Don't even go there. Well since Colonial Marines is meant to be a direct sequel to Aliens, that isn't exactly an unrealistic expectation. Me personally, I'm pissed that Vasquez didn't get a look in as one of the multiplayer skins OR that you can't have female marines in the Multiplayer. Gearbox have brought that drama upon themselves.
Gearbox said they were making a sequel to Aliens, one of the most well respected sci-fi action movies. A movie renound for its characters, with Vasquez being one of the most memorable. Hasbro make business decisions, people will bitch about that; big-fucking-whoop. Gearbox have made an artistic claim of fidelity and they're being called on it when its looking like the won't deliver, vastly different. I want to play the game to see how good it is, but not having female marines in multiplayer in the one shooter that can really justify it, seems poor form.
I think the technical reason they gave was hitboxes since the female marines would be a bit smaller; seems a cop out to me
Wow. That's pretty sad. Hope they know of the eventual rage coming from fans. At least Fall of Cybertron has a valid reason for not having femmes in the game.
Huh, you're damn right it's a cop-out. Look at Mortal Kombat 9, for example. That game has slightly differing hitboxes for males and females, since the girls are less bulky than the guys (excluding Sheeva, who is the tallest playable character) If Mortal Kombat can pull it off nicely, I don't see any reason why Colonial Marines couldn't.
Well not in the single player anayway, the will be in MP surely just like WFC. I did enjoy playing as Arcee and Slipstream.
I don't care about what goes down, or about the character's designs or if they can talk or not. I am a Transformers fan through and through. If anyone says a thing to me about them I'll give them hell.
Pretty much. Also Ash sucks. I don't ship him with anyone...the pokegals would be way better off without him.
I dunno man, them NightwingxAsami shippers that belong to whatever fandom they choose to represent are pretty vile people.
Try going to the Sonic fandom anyday. Trust me they make some of the complaints here look tame in comparison.
