There isnt a single transformers series that doesnt have people complain about it. But do these series have huge problems that are truly worth complaining about? or are we all just a bunch of whiny children that complain too much about things not worth complaining about. I must say I for one am leaning a bit more towards the latter, but what does the fandom in general think?

Are we right to point out these problems and complain about them?

..or do we truly whine too much about our transformers

    what are your thoughts?

Usually, yes. Its perfectly normal for a fandom to notice problems and talk about them. But there comes a point where a certain subject is brought up so often it gets ridiculous and brings out the worst in the fandom. In other words, there's a fine line between discussing and complaining.
Well yeah, but this is a Transformers board. And while there's still stuff to whine about the whiners will continue to whine because they can.

I don't see what the problem is about complaining. Everyone gets on the cases of people who complain a lot, but complaining can be a good thing. Just as long as it's actually constructive.

    That's how some fans are.

Like myself, it takes a lot to make me really hate a figure. But there are others that Hasbro just about do anything for and some of those fans complain. Which annoys me, because I know there are other fans from other eras of Transformers, that get's nothing from Hasbro. Here some of these fans are complaining about something Hasbro did for them, when they really could had not done so.

That is one of the moments that I just want to punch people.

People whine on the internet... because it's the internet. People can remain faceless, without fear of consequence or repercussions. Disagreements lead to more arguments, which only serves as fuel to fire.

    and Trolls. They are lurking...

I think we're just like any other fandom. Star Wars is probably worse though because its been around longer.

I going with the Twilight fans do by their lack of putting them into Teams like "Team Sparkles" and "Team Furry Buff". We've the other hand haven't been slit into teams, and plus we are awsome.

Simply put: YES. But most people on the interwebz could fall under that category.

    Pretty much.

Which the vocal majority doesn't seem to be. ;)  Yes, positive, well-thought-out and respectable criticism and voicing of opinions can be good, but even based on what I myself have witnessed, that only describes about 10% of the fandom's actions. The remaining 90% is baseless, rude, immature ranting and whining.

"Bah, nothing new shown at SDCC! We've seen all the good stuff as stolen prototypes already, and the rest is just repaints. Third party, that's where the GOOD stuff is at!"

"$20 for a Deluxe? Assblo dropped the ball again! I'm not buying that shit. (I will.) $80 Deluxe-sized third party figure? Sign me up for THAT!"
