I read somehwere that Scorponok does have a Robot Form, only that he doesn't like to transform and he likes his scorpion mode.

can you psot the Source, Please?.

anyways, i think Scorponk doesn't have an Alt Mode.

In fact, in the first movie the scorpion mode, is his robot form.
Cause, his alt mode, is a part from blackout.

I suppose it could be a nice nod to Hasbro by the movie but I doubt it would happen. There are enough robots in the film to do the humanoid fighting and Scorponok would probably be just as effective staying in his animal form.
That said, they've got his animal form already built so just re-orienting the parts into a robot mode shape wouldn't mean starting from scratch on a new CG model.

If this is true I hope it is based of his Legends form.

I don't see Skorponok as your average Transformer, he's more of a pet, for example: humans have a organic make-up of flesh and we have pets that are also made of flesh - Transformers are "Autonomous Robotic Organsisms" with a make-up of an organic metal-alloy, so therefore their pets would be too. As for Skorponok "taking orders" as some may percieve it, I just think he's like a trained dog, ie: You can train a dog to follow simple commands like, "sic-'em boy" and they do it.

My point is that Skorponok doesn't really need a robot mode because he isn't a humanoid robot that can talk and think, he's a Cybertronian animal that has been trained.

I think that Ravage will be the exact same way.

    I hope this helped!! :D

I agree with Vaderprime1 on this. Movie Scorponok seemed like he was more of a pet then anything else. I actually saw some close ups of the head model once, and the side panels on his head had "FUEL" on them, suggesting he is just made up of a fuel tank off of Blackout's altmode.

Now who knows, we could be proven wrong in the next film, but it seemed to me that he was just a minion character.

Despite the fact Scorponok's toy had a robot mode, and that he had one in the comics, I don't think he'd be transforming into a robot at all in ROTF. Besides, I like him a lot better in scorpion mode than anything else.

It'd help if someone could confirm this, maybe with an image. At the very least tell us which issue this is suppose to be in?

If you can call just standing up, a transformation. :p

It says on the back of Skorp's deluxe class box that he prefers his alt mode to his robot mode, but that's Hasbro and toy bios aren't really considered cannon.

Scorponok's alt mode is one of Blackout's engines in the movie.

Hey, could you rehost that on your own image service? You'd be costing Ben Procter there bandwidth by direct linking like that.

no i don't believe he will have a robot mode

And he will only appear in the desert scenes

His robot mode is his scorpion mode. It is also his cybertronian form.

He has no need to disguise when in the desert and attacking Autobots. He will just burrow into the sand

If it's good enough for every other Scorponok, it's good enough for this one!
