There wouldn't be any way to properly do it justice...unless you make a hand-puppet.

No plans for a toy that I am aware of. I created that entry to record the character's existence. It's a character page, not a toy page - we simply don't have a specialised character database (yet)

I think this could easily be done as a cyberverse playset. But there are so many possibilities for those playsets. I wouldn't mind a Nemesis set to go against the Ark :p

Cyberverse playset could be interesting... I'm hoping they're going to do a Supreme Driller, but he's all coiled up in the box. When you unravel him, he's huge. I'm hoping they can kind of do with the Driller what they did with ROTF Leader Jetfire.

I hope they make him as a Cyberverse Playset in the same price point as the Ark. Shockwave "pilots" it. In some concept art, the Driller has a hatch that Shockwave sits inside.

The Driller could have wheels on the bottom of it's body, and these are toothed with gears up to the body. It's would have multiple jointed sections, with a gear in each, so when you push the Driller along, its mouth spins, possibly with more teeth using planetary gears.

a piece of steel cable, uncoil it at the end, and there you go for a cyberverse version, just need bigger cable for a regular version

The idea of a driller handpuppet came from me remembering one guy at Botcon this year with a little 'Ravage the Insult Puppet.'

But imagine it: if you could get a motorized driller puppet that had teeth spinning in different directions, it'd be cool to move your arm around in crowds with it. :p

If we do get a driller toy, it should totally be called Nexus Maximus.

    .....:lol

If anything, the only way we'd get a driller toy is if they make him a big Cyberverse playset. Make it some multi-segmented tube where each segment is connected by a simple swivel so you get the big worm alt mode and have each segment open up into a different "room" for it's base mode. It actually wouldn't bee too hard to do, but in all seriousness I doubt they ever would.

In the movie I was given the impression that Driller WAS Shockwave.

He was never stated to be a seperate dude. Plus when he's F'ing S up in Chernoblye. Optimus just refers to him as Shockwave. He is never stated to be separate from Shockwave. Even in the final battle Shcokwave has to notice what the humans on the building are doing before driller moves in.

I think in the movie driller is controlled somehow by Shockwave.

I will admit, the activation claw that grabs figures and pulls it into its chest is kind of impressive. But other than that, I couldn't help but think of the factory workers in Asia breathing the plastic fumes to put this thing together. :( ....
