I'm just in it for the TF4 toys & CGI robots designs.

No,I don't get angry,I'm not a toddler. I don't live & breathe transformers. I have other things in my life besides this hobby.

I have mixed feelings. I'm interested to see if he's learned from his mistakes and what direction he'll bring the series into.

Angry. You'd think I'd be pleased the dude who made what got me into TF is back but his sequels are big disappointments and I will not pay to see more of.

While I am happy that Bay is coming back for the fourth and not re-booting, I still think that it would have been interesting to see what another director could do with the franchise.

I am utterly indifferent to the matter at this point.

Not very optimistic. I'm glad I never actually went to the theaters to watch ROTF.

I'm with Gordon. I haven't been thrilled with either sequel overall, and I imagine future sequels will be more of the same.

I do however look forward to the fanrage over bad reviews. That will be epic - better than when Hugo beat DotM for an Oscar.

Let's just say I won't be going to see this movie in theatres. I'm going to download it- feel the disappointment and then shut it off 20 minutes in even though it will probably only take 5 minutes in to see it's going to be the same boring shit as always when this clown is at the helm.

Angry, especially when he announced it. Now I'm mainly filled with frustration and disgust.

I think alot of the anger is coming from the fact that bay is a liar. Announcing that tf3 was gonna be his last then a year a and a half later announcing hes directing a 4th. Id be kinda pissed to if I didnt want him to return. Still doesnt condone some of the language ive seen on these forums though.

Mixed feelings. First was great, ROTF was meh, DOTM had potential but failed to reach its fullest. So really, there is no telling how the fourth film will end up.

    I'm neither happy nor upset.

I enjoyed the past movies well enough to be fine with him doing another.

I had originally hoped they would pass it off to someone else just for variety's sake, to see what someone else might be able to do differently, and to give fans someone different to bitch about for a while, but oh well.

If Paramount had other people they were considering, I'd have loved to have heard their choices. TF has been too big a money-maker for them to hand it off to an unknown or up-and-coming director, although I think that might have given us the best movie. And I can't think of what other big name directors would be suitable and actually WANT to do a TF movie. I mean, fans were suggesting names like Nolan, which is a ridiculous idea any way you slice it.

Very, very happy. I loved what he's given us so far, and if it's more of his style of TF, there's a large chance that it'll be great. Especially with each sequel being better than the last and all.

    Indifferent.

    Was hoping for a change.
But since it isn't happening, I'm glad I liked what came before.

I'm not much fond he's back. I want something more than Bayformers because I know much better can be done if someone else is allowed to get into the director's chair. Bay coming back means probably another lacking effort. It may make bank, but there's nothing to say a more intelligent effort can't too.
I'm not angry Bay is back, I'm just disappointed that we're more than likely due another round of his poor directing of a franchise I love, especially when he was almost out of the door and gone and we were going to be finally well rid of him. I want to see a different person's take, be it worse, better or the same. I just want something other than the BayVerse to make me interested in the potential of the live-action movies again.
Yeah, the reason why some people don't like Bay directing Transformers is because they're Transformers obsessive toddlers with nothing else in their lives.
