Do u prefer to call these movie verse characters by Dino and Que or Mirage and Wheeljack
I prefer to call them Que and Dino since Dino is an Italian name and Dino is Italian , and Que doesn't look any thing like wheeljack so I call him Que

... But I kno there are going to be conflicting views

Dino for the Ferrari, Q and Wheeljack interchangably. Q mostly since it's like his nickname.

 

Dino and Que. Those are their spoken names in the actual film itself, which supercedes all other references IMO.

Just to be obtuse, the only expection to this rule for me is the mistake in the subtitles for TF1 where Brawl is referred to as Devastator.

 

WHEELJACK AND MIRAGE HANDS DOWN! Because that's what the toys, comics, novel, games etc. call them. The movie calls them Q and Dino. Plus, Dino and Q are stupid names

 

Mirage and Que. I pronounce 'Que' the Spanish way.

if Dino and Que were their nicknames then NEST would keep calling Optimus Prime "Big Buda" and Bumblebee would be called "Mute"

I guess I'm not enough of a nerd to care either way. I mean, honestly, it shouldn't really matter at this point since none of the names are wrong. It's all a matter of preference anyway.

Mirage and Wheeljack. The Hasbro trademark names are used in every medium except for the films. I believe that Mr. Bay committed a grave error by not using their real names.

Those are their real names, hasbro just can't use them for trademark reasons. And Bay really had no choice in the case of Dino. Ferrari came up with the name, not Bay. And Q fits the character more than Wheeljack. (although both fit pretty well)

And at the end of the day, everything is approved by Hasbro. So they're just as much Q and Dino as Wheeljack and Mirage by your logic.
